    Depressing, heartbreaking, and almost made me cry (yes, I'm a dork) Hokuto died, and she was my fav. girl charecter! And since Hokuto died and Seishriou left, Subaru has been all alone till X and that is for what, 8 years? Poor guy. Where is a Subaru plushie when I need one?

    The ending is really sad cry I cried when Hokuto died, I cried when Seishirou left Subaru! Why Subaru has to suffer so much?? 7

    The ending left me depressed, but it was well done. It left me thinking about for ages (heck, I still think about it!). On a whole, TB's just the kind of story that leaves an impression and never quite let go of the reader.

    heartbreaking ... which is probably why it was so good! just seeing the difference in Subaru from earlier chapters makes me wanna cry.. not to mention Hokuto!!!

    hmmm...
    a bit depressing and i cant help but think that its one of the reason why it can be considered a classic. its different ending makes me think of those stupid anime whose ending is too mushy for their own good. besides i like the story better, your enemy being your love and a family conflict (though its not actually shown)
    besides i can't help but think of the "what's if" if seishiro did "this" and that" instead of leaving subaru alone for a long time then making him inherit his title in X....

    I was like Subaru in the end heartbroken and depressed. Then Hokuto died! I was like NO!!!!! And it was all for Subby's sake. I still get teary at the thought.
