    I placed my hands on the sides of her head. I could sense even before I touched her that she couldn't control the voices that circled around the ship unlike me.

    I shut my eyes and focused. I could sense her surprise when she no longer felt like her mind was on fire. I released her and shivered. This was one part of my ability that my gerna often said not to use, however, I didn't like someone be in pain from just things.
