I had managed to take some sand with me as it felt good on my hands and feet. It would help me be more comfortable on the ship as we sailed away from the island. My ears dropped. I was still sad about a lot of things. For one...I felt like a burden on everyone. I was of no real help for anything...and so what if I still a little kid...I still wanted to be able to help.
