    Young Magazine posted today an announcement stating that the reason for the recent postponement of XXXHOLiC's serialization is due to a sudden illness amongst CLAMP (it's not said which one of them).

    According to the note, XXXHOLiC will resume publication next week (although CLAMP-NET.COM says differently). [source: chibiyuuto]

    A week ago I made a post supposedly revealing which member of CLAMP was sick. By then we thought it was Tsubaki Nekoi but a reader has approached me to inform that there was a mistake in the translation.

    I asked the original translator to take a look at the translation and indeed there was a mistake.

    Around the same time, Nanase Ohkawa made a post in her Private Board clearly revealing that she was the one who got sick.

    Just to clarify the "CLAMP's sickness" subject once and for all, we apologize for any inconvenience =)

    To those who were wondering, Tsubaki Nekoi was the one who got sick recently, which was sort of expected seeing how only XXXHOLiC's schedule was affected by it.

    The Power of a Cold

    It seems like colds and influenza are getting stronger and stronger these days.

    Thankfully, after a few days, mine went away.
    But it's very difficult, and even riding the train becomes something to worry about.
    Even if you're careful, you can't see a virus.

    I want to stay as isolated from others as I can.
    It's very tiring.

    Not gargling or washing your hands...
    It's really irresponsible.

    なんだか世間様では風邪とかインフルエンザが
    猛威をふるっているようですね。

    おかげさまでひかずにおりますが、
    こう大変そうだと、電車とか不安になります。
    気をつけてもウィルスは見えませんしねぇ。

    By the way, Young Magazine #10 is out today in Japan and XXXHOLiC is not carried in it. It'll be back on issue #12, out February 16.

    WOW... Talk about twisted news XD *sorry, I know this is not suppose to be funny D: but still ^^;;;;* Seriously.... I suppose CLAMP doesn't JUST mess with fans in the manga... but also in RL too ^^;;;;

    Though I suppose is a fan-translation error :P though in the end it was actually Ohkawa-sama who got sick... I suppose Nekoi-san was drawing that picture for Ohkawa-san ^^

    A week ago I made a post supposedly revealing which member of CLAMP was sick. By then we thought it was Tsubaki Nekoi but a reader has approached me to inform that there was a mistake in the translation.

    I asked the original translator to take a look at the translation and indeed there was a mistake.

    Around the same time, Nanase Ohkawa made a post in her Private Board clearly revealing that she was the one who got sick.

    Just to clarify the "CLAMP's sickness" subject once and for all, we apologize for any inconvenience =)

    The official website of Young Magazine posted a note today stating that the reason that XXXHOLiC is taking a break this week is due to a sudden illness amongst CLAMP (it's not said which one of them).

    You might remember that on late January a similar note was posted in Young Magazine's official website regarding a last-minute change in XXXHOLiC's publishing schedule.

    The next XXXHOLiC chapter will be published in the next Young Magazine issue.

    My best regards to the sick CLAMP member(s) and I hope for a safe recovery.
