He laughed again and walked over to him. "What are you to her, mortal?"

Watanuki:

"Her...friend." I managed to say. "And I'm not her only friend either." I said with a fierce look in my eyes.

"If they're all as weak as you no problem. Now I've wasted enough time here I must leave." He said returning to the shadows.

Suddenly a sword was placed at the man's throat.

Arashi:

"Don't move another inch." I quietly said as I had easily gotten close to him.

Watanuki:

"Arashi-san!" I was surprised. Then I heard the footsteps of Yuuko-sama. I couldn't move no matter how much I wanted to.

"Don't get in my way. You wouldn't want to wake her from her peaceful sleep." He said glancing at Shikatsu and smiling. "Beautiful isn't she?"

Arashi:

"Give Shikatsu-san back." I said in an unwavering voice, the blade that a part of me drawn to his throat.

Watanuki:

I saw Yuuko-sama walk past me and toward where Arashi and the man holding Shika-san was...and she was carrying her staff...never a good thing.

"What's going on here?!" Yuuko asked.

"How troublesom." He sighed. "Must take her back now and if I leave she will be woken from her sleep and I don't think it will be a peaceful reunion among friends."

Arashi:

"I believe this person is trying to kidnap Shikatsu, Yuuko-sama." I said still holding the sword to the man's throat.

Watanuki

"Thats right. I came out here to get some fresh air and there is this guy trying to carry Shika-san off." I explained.

"As principle of this school I won't allow it!" She said.

"I have orders to take her back and I can't allow anyone to stand in my way. Now if you'll excuse me. I must be on my way."

Arashi:

I pressed the sword harder against his throat. "I have no fear of killing you if need be." I said with a calm tone. I kept my guard up and my sword steady and leveled with his throat.

Watanuki:

I pulled a special stone out my pocket as I got up. I moved myself until I was in view of Shika-san. I tossed the stone and when it touched her skin, it encased her within it and the stone returned to my hand. 'Note to self...thank Yuuko-sama later.' I thought as I rushed back inside the event center with the stone.

"Hey if I were you I'd watch what your tossing if your magic screws with mine that won't be good for anyone, even me." He said to Watanuki.

Watanuki:

I continued to carry the stone with Shika-san inside into the building. I prayed that the magic inside was still working.

Arashi:

"You should be paying attention to the here and now if I were you." I said as a small cut appeared on his neck.

"Alright this is over now." He kicked Arashi back and touched his fingers to his forehead
"Release!"
All of a sudden I was pulled from my dream like state complately dazed, anger built up in me nothing made any sense. I felt the electrical serge through my body growing out of control. I looked down at my hands and saw the growing electric currents coming from my fingertips. Then realized I was surrounded by my friends then I saw him the moment I saw what he did to Arashi the current increased, threatening Watanuki. I had to do something or everyone here would get hurt.

Watanuki:

I saw electric current coming from the stone. I placed it on the ground and did the release command. I dropped the necklace right next to Shika-san when I turned around to see if Arashi was ok.

Arashi:

'He is strong.' I thought as I got up. I had noticed that Yuuko had gotten between me and the man. "Yuuko-sama..." I said quietly.

"I can't allow you to fight him, his wound has already healed." She said.
I saw him take a defensive stance my power was going to get way out of control but I couldn't leave everyone with him. My head started to hurt so bad I fell to my knees, I was losing control.
"Stop... Gasp ... not again." I tried to fight this overcoming feeling.
"How inconvinent." He sighed.
"There's no point in fighting anymore ...I'm done running. Take my back just don't hurt anyone else." I said to get things moving I was quickly losing this fight.
"Hmm so you've learned to sacrifice yourself to save your friends. These humans truly have rubbed off on you." He said with a distant stare.

Watanuki:

"Shika-san..." I felt as helpless as ever. Why is it that the friends I make happen to have some sort of strength to them. Then I stood up and stood between Shika-san and the guy. I didn't care if I got hurt. I didn't want her to leave.

Arashi:

I went and stood with Watanuki. There was no way I would let this jerk have Shikatsu-san. "You can go if you want Watanuki." I said. He just shook his head and stood his ground.

"Don't get to close! I-I can't control it." I shouted as the electric charges threatened to grab hold of them. "This has to end. He's right I can't run forever. At least it's just him if ..." I dismissed the thought. "It's better that he came after me or there'd be no survivers. Don't make this any worse for yourselves. So, as far as anyone knows I was never here."
He stared at me eyes wide with surprize then tried to hide it with a smile.

Both Watanuki and Arashi looked back at Shikatsu.

Watanuki:

"What...what about your necklace?" I didn't care about the electric current I walked up to her and placed it around her neck. I stepped away from her. "At least you don't want to lose that right?" I said smiling weakly.

Arashi:

"Is there no way we can help? I would rather have you here than knowing that your somewhere else in the world with that guy." I said eyeing him carefully.

"I'll be fine just don't get involved any further." I strained trying not to allow Watanuki to feel the full force of the currents.

Arashi and Watanuki stood aside. They both knew that no more could be done.

Saiku:

I opened my eyes and looked around. I knew we had moved. To where, I have no clue. Thats when someone with white hair entered the room.

Ryu:

I felt someone hovering over me. "Who is that?" I asked sitting up really quickly.

He walked closer to me his face was emotionless.
"Let's go."
I felt my grip start to slip.
"If I leave I can never come back and if you leave he'll know where I am."
He frowned then nodded.
The internal battle was over. "Then... You won't be the one to leave and neither will I!" My energy was focused on him and he was thrown back by the currents.

All near Shikatsu:

"NOOOOOOOO!" Everyone yelled.

"I finally under stand." He said. I attached him but he just dodge his expression was different I couldn't pin point what it was. I hesitated big mistake I left myself open and he used my weak point but in a way no one could notice. Then caught me before I hit the ground all my power was cut off instantly.
"That's enough." He said softly. I couldn't fight back and blacked out again.

Both Watanuki and Arashi were stopped by Yuuko from charging at him.

Ryu:

"Hiruyuki-san...Subaru-san...are you both still here?" I asked looking around even though I could not see a thing.

"Wait something's different." Yuuko said to them.
