Vampire Hunt: Part 4

Hokuto:

"Witch. . . I don't know whether you're going to give Subaru's soul back or not, but you arn't going to lay your bloodstained hands on it!" I jumped up and stricked down at Yuko who doged and jumped back.

Yuko:

As I dodged at her attacks, i spoke: "Oh, but I wasgoing to give his soul back, Hokuto, why dont' we just have a friendly chat about this."

Hokuto:

"Does it look like I'll listen to you!?" I kicked Yuko's hand upright in which Subaru;s soul bounced up into the air, I jumped up and caught it.

Lillian:

Even though the pain was excrutiating, now was the time to use the one power I hadn't used in ages.

'Hokuto-sama, listen to me. I need you to calm down.' I called in my mind. Then I changed brain channels.

'William, calm down Hokuto-sama.'
'How on earth?!?!?!'
'Just do it'

Hokuto:

For a sec I thought i heard Lillian's voice, but then I felt a full impact on my side as I was kicked to the ground. I held Subaru's soul close to me, it was perfectly fine but I wasn't as the witch's foot slammed onto my head and against the floor.

Yuko:

"You really are a fool, Hokuto, a very insignifigent, stupid little insect that needs to be squish."

William:

'WILLIAM........!' Lillian growled. I nodded and began to calm Yuuko. Her foot raised of Hokuto-sama's head.
'After this, you're going to tell me how on earth you can speak to people through their thoughjts!'

Hokuto:

I slowly got up and turned to. . . William, was it? I heard his and Lillian's thoughts, glaring at him and garbbed his arm and also Rubi's. "And then you;re going to explain to me what the hell you all are thinking." I muttered before we, including Rubi, disappeared from the building.

William:

What do you mean?"

Hokuto:

When we got back to the cave, I answered. " Well first, you two are acting like Subaru with the whole 'no, don't kill Yuko! You don't understand, calm down, calm down!' And for some reason you managed to calm Yuko down llike you joined her side. You know, if you two are born to die in order to protect us, how is it that you're not against Yuko who has almost killed me several times and could've killed Subaru whenever she wanted to when she had his soul!?"

William:

'She lost me' Lillian said. I wanted to try.
'Join the club.' Laughter.

"Let's tyalk about this where everyonbe is around. Subaru needs to get his soul back quickly." We headed towards the cave.

Hokuto:

I hurried over to Subaru and once I got near him, his soul floated over him and sunk into his chest.

William:

Subaru's eyes widened then closed. It was painful when you're soul merged together with your body again.

I could still feel a bit of his souls's power on my hand. I placed it on the black mass which quickly melted away. I lifted Lillian and pouted when I realised I couldn't carry both of them at once.

"L-let me-e w-wal-lk" Lillian said., I shook myhead.
"No."

Hokuto:

"I can carry Subaru." I said and carfeully picked him up.

"thanks" I said, and we ran to the mansion. When we got their, Kamuio-sama glar5ed at the unconscious Subaru. Damn

Kamui:

"What the hell happened?" I growled.

Hokuto:

I sighed and explained what happend to Kamui, after I told him he turned to me, than Subaru, than Lillian and lastly William. I wasa bit ticked off at Lillian and William by their actions but Kamui looked evn more ticked off.

Lillian:

"Kamui......you already.........KNOW this....." I moaned. He would yell at us, we would nod and apologise but we wouldn't listen to his words at all.

Kamui:

"I know that, but I hate to see Subaru hurt, and also Hokuto who has been hurt as well--"

Hokuto:

"I'm fine, but I need a talk with you, Kamui," I inturuppted 'cause I know where this was going already. "about the whole thing with Subaru and Yuko, since Lillian and WIlliam here won't tell me anything. Yes I know that Yuko is 'our mother' but I need to know why it seems we're all switching sides."

Subaru:

"Hokuto-chan......shut up before........you embaress yourself...." My voice sounded awful, and I still din't have the strength to open my eyes.

Hokuto:

"How about you shut up and go back to sleep?" I muttered, feeling even more ticked off. Sheesh, it sounded like I'm not being listened to correctly, now who was the one who retrieved Subaru;'s soul?

Rubi:

"HOkuto-san you're angry and have every right to be. But...with Yuuko rushing in and facing her with only you, me, and William was a suicide mission." I tied to reason.

Hokuto:

"Hey, it was either that or Yuko keeping Subaru's soul for herself. And don't you guys even start with the whole 'But Yuko will bring his soul back!" Well I don't belive her and with you guys saying tht, I'm starting to belive you all less!"

William:

I laughed a little.
"Ypou don't see things from the Witch's point of view."

Hokuto:

"What do you mean?"

"Thw witch hates boredom. You don't kill your favorute toy."

Hokuto:

"Figures. . . but still, Yuko is messing with Subaru and SUbaru is like oblivious to it 'cause he thinks of her as a true mother, but truthfully shes a sadist witch who loves to torture and get drunk!"

William:

I bit my lip.
"She wasn;t always." I could still remeber clearly the beautiful young woman holding Clow-dono's hand, gazing at him with piure love and adoration. She was not quite human, but no where near a vampire. Bit no one had thirsted for her blood.

I remembered her watching her children play in the field as she lay in Clow-dono's lap.

And I remebered her crying when I saw her kneeling over Clow-dono's body.

Maybe she had killed him in rage. But she loved him with all her heart. She had loved her children with all her heart. But that love had shut down because of belief.

She couldn't believe that the husband whom she loved more then anything else in the world killed to survive.

She had a prejuidice. It doesn't help anything when you're love turns out to be the same kind of creature as the one that murdered your family.

Yeah, William knew Yuuko when she was 'Princess' in the royals.

Hokuto:

". . . I'm going to take Subaru to his room." I just said, I didn't want to have anymore talk about this. I disappeared into the mansion, feeling so much anger and annoyance inside, I awnted to take it on a wall or something, but Icess and her sibings would be furious at me.
