I guess I won't spoil anyone saying it's still about food...so yeah, things are still not moving that much in holic ^^;;
But there are lots of talking by Domeki so I'm looking forward the translation.

Lol, that's probaly 'cause they want to keep both Holic/TRC fans calmed down while reading Holic after they read TRC so they don't go rampaging in CLAMP's studio or something.

I love Dou/Wata intraction. Doumeki never lets him sparkle for long XD
But is it really that calm? I think thats the first time that Watanuki has tasted and commented on food. Does that mean he's able to remember some things now and his payment to Yuuko is weakening or changing in someway? :/
And why does Doumeki not look pleased about it? Although I admit I've never seen an instance where Doumeki actually looks pleased about anything XD

xxxholic is so slow lately, but this chapter does seem to be showing some development, Watanuki looks so cute when he's saying oishii on page 8, and it's nice to see the lady coming outside too - Watanuki must finally be getting through to her... I just want to know what Doumeki's problem seems to be, unless he's just being naturally overprotective because he knows the food is from Himawari xD

haha~~ seems like we have some Himawari-chan's food complex XD XD Doumeki sure is good with "sensing" whatever food is around ^.^ I believe the significant of Himawari making food instead of just "buying and has her mom heating them up" showed that she is slowly getting over and trying her best to adjust/deal with her curse. ^__^

Wata: It was a simple meal. (N.T.: This phrases are common in japan - Doumeki says "Gochisousama deshita" and Wata, "Osomatsusama deshita.")

A lot of us are commenting on how doumeki looks worried, you can tell the ending is near, i think he can tell the time to use the egg is near, which has him worried. Doumeki isn't as calm as Watanuki about Yuuko being gone, more than likey, so one of the things that can be seen as protection to Watanuki is missing, thus Doumeki is the only one guarding Watanuki (at least it seems that way)

This is why i think Doumeki looks more serious than normal.

The cooking lady does seem to be coming around though. Progress at last. And fanservice for the Doumeki/Watanuki shippers

I'm so happy Himawari's getting better about her curse now though. She's really one of my favorite characters, definitely my all time favorite Holic character and one of my top favorite female CLAMP characters.
