*Edit*. ok, another flashback! This chapter was almost equivalent of the first chapter we saw in the begginning. I wonder how did C|Syaoran and C|Sakura fit into this chapter in the first place? Cos it seems to me, the people who we're meant to see in the first chapter was actually R|Syaoran and R|Sakura! How the heck did the story get twisted around? Is it possible that Clow Reed is purely involved in these cases?

Thank you so much for the links! Woah! This chapter is almost the same as chapter 1. I'm completely lost to how did R|Syaoran get there in the first place. I want the actual story back. I'm so dead sick of all the flashbacks already.

And I think that soon we might have to explain our theories on all this again. It took a long time on Tsubasa forums. But here is what I think happened with the first chapter and chapter 199.

Well, it seems that Clow country is the strangest place yet. Because, it seems that the clones are far back in time when Clow Reed was still alive near the start of Clow and the real guys are where they should be. But it is also like another world. But time is almost repeating in the first chapter with the photo, the outfit, the traveling, the motions of the story. But there are also some things that belong to the others, our beloved clones. For one thing, Sakura jumped on Syaoran in chapter 1, but doesn't in the latest chappie. And there are many other small things that really stick out once you notice them. And does anyway else notice that the artwork has seemed to change a little?

Thanks, dolly! Interesting chapter! It seems like that things are finally picking up a few infos, and hints, however, it's still obivious that they keep hiding Syaoran's parents's faces. There's no reason for Clamp to continue concealing his parents identity so come on Clamp, show us their faces already

I'm really lost! I don't know anymore. I wanna see Papa Syaoran and Mama Sakura's faces! And Clamp should stop shafting Cloney! Leave him aloneX(

Well... this Chapter only adds more confusion to the story *chuckles*

Though, at least that seems to be the first real "event" (the first true part of the whole story).

I had been wondering the whole night (sleeping? Who needs that when you have to think about the whole plot of TCR? :huh?: ) about the chronological (don't mind the spelling... *shrugs*) events... or at least to make an event's order to clarify my own mind!
Let's see:

1) Real Syaoran and Real Sakura met when they are 7 years old
2) They live in Clown country for 7 more years (thus, as Blossom told me once, someone said that they should have about 14 years old when the story begins)
3) ??? <- Intervention of FWR?
4) Clone Syaoran and Clone Sakura met trough C.Syaoran false father (they both seem to have 7 years)
5) They live in Clown country for other 7 years (because in Chapter 1, they have the same body as this chapter [present time], therefore, that makes me wodner the Clones lived for another 7 years)
6) Clone Sakura's feathers are scattered trough dimensions and the adventure begins (Chapter 1)

I'm still hoping to know about point 3), because that would explain WHY Clone Syaoran and Clone Sakura met at the age of 7 by another way than the real (C!Syaoran arriving with his (false) father to Clown country to make research about the ruins).

Yet, another question makes me figure about the real age of R! Syaoran and Sakura... since they live (until chapter 199) until the age of 14... and seems that the clones live another 7 years... Does that means that the real Sakura and Syaoran are... 21 years old?? (which would suit more with their bodies, rather than 14 years old... O_o;; )

I'm also thinking on more things... like when C!Sakura has a dream of the R!Syaoran and R!Sakura with her father (when they compete in the "human-chess" tournament)...
Gah!!
I should remember not to think that much after waking up... *shrugs*

Well, this was quite a good attention grabbing chapter. It is almost akin to the replica chapter of the first volume and I have to confess that I really enjoyed reading it. Every panels is basically the same. The only differ is Sakura didn’t get hyper over Syaoran!^o^

*nods* It is true the Syaoran and Sakura appeared since the beginning of the chapter is not the real people. As we have seen in this chapter, R|Syaoran is supposed to live alone and his every mission is to find a clue to destroy the curse that seal on Sakura. How the event was switched between him and Cloney Syaoran is still unknown. But the fact that Clow Reed was there in the first chapter as the King is crucially obvious, given that Fujitaka is actually the "true King of Clow" not Clow Reed. Whether Clow Reed is purely involved in these cases is still the biggest mystery and I hope Clamp will clarify about it soon.

R|Syaoran is exact the same age as Sakura when he met Sakura and they live till the age age of 14. When Syaoran payed his price “ his time” to Yuuko, he had turned back to 7 years younger and lives for another 7 years so, he should be in his 20s by now. And I agree, the proportions of their physical body are unsuitable for a 14 year old but if you compare to others chapters in the previous volumes, Cloney Syaoran and Cloney Sakura look more little younger than the Real ones.^_____~

Also, R!Sakura said that she would have known R!Syaoran for over half her life which might mean that the real ones are actually turning 15 while the clones are 14, which might mean why the artwork seems a little different.
