Tsubasa RC Chapitre 218

I guess my perspective differs then the ones above.
What I am asking myself right now would be best expressed as "how could they not be CCS|SxS?".
We all know that CCS world = XXXHolic world = Lawful Drug World = Kobato world = Wish world = Suki Dakara Suki world. I won't justify these equalities, too long, but countless crossovers proofed those months ago already.
But let's concentrate on what interest us the most: CCS world = XXXHolic world, this equivalence was established since volume1chapter2 of XXXHolic, in which we learned that Yuuko knew about the cards creator, Clow Reed, and its successor, the card mistress and holder of the wand, even though she never personally met her in the flesh.
We learned afterward that she was closer to Clow Reed that we thought, who is actually the sole mage she truly admires, and even created Mokona Modoki together with him.
Now, we got 'Syaoran' (who is Clow Reed blood relative/descendant through his parents, that was repeated a thousand times over in the manga, so we all got the message -___-) , who is using the same magic circle as CCS|Syaoran, whose parents are named 'Sakura' and 'Syaoran Li', whose grand mother is Nadeshiko and is deceased (he said he only saw her on photographs).
His mother 'Sakura' is a really powerful mage, who started having dreams about her son's future when he was still in her womb, and was the one who told him that "for the ones who knows, the World is not only one" (she talked to her son about the existence of Dimensions) and was the one who dreamed about him having to go to another world to meet someone; her magic is so powerful that she broke through FWR's magic circle that was holding 'Syaoran' and she rewound Time at his demand; while his father 'Syaoran Li' taught him about magic, martial arts, using his sword (a heirloom passed down for generations in the family, and which he had gotten himself from his own father) and is an outstanding cook who taught his son everything he needed to survive alone, in prevision of the day he would find himself separated from them. He is also the one who changed Watanuki's appearance and made him look like his own ancestor, Clow Reed.

Like all of you, Clamp put some serious doubts in my mind with the past two chapters, but if they are not CCS|SxS, who are they? How could we explain they are from Holic=CCS world? Their powers? Their magic circles? Their family members? Their personalities? 'Syaoran Li' being Clow Reed descendant? etc..
Of course, something like "no matter how similar they are, they are still just look alike from another dimension" could be put forward, but HOW LAME would that be??!! What is the use of making them so similar to the CCS|SxS couple? Just to tell us afterward "You were wrong guys! HA! On your face!".
--> If this ends up being the case for real, this is a huge DISAPPOINTMENT. This is no plot story, nor twist, nor originality, nor nothing, this is the worst scenario, this is lower then fanfic level worth.
In the end, more then 'wanting them to be CCS|SxS', I guess I 'don't want not to be CCS|SxS' because of how cheap the reasoning of them being yet another random SxS alternative versions is worthless in my mind.
I am expecting something more from TRC then cheap and low level story telling.

Ah, I'm not going into if Mama and Papa SXS is CCS's SxS. >.< Difference of opinons, they're tiring me out lately.

But Does anyone else get the feeling that Mama and Papa SxS are going to sacrifice themselves for the sake of bring it all back together?

Same goes for me: when it was finally exposed he was their son, I was like "aaawww!! No, come on! ;___;", now that I think about, it really was mainly because of his physical appearance ^^;; Because just like you, I had made up in my mind the image of a super cute boy who would look more like Syaoran then Sakura maybe, but who would have his mother's green eyes (we fans really think the same way ^^). That said, it was established in this chapter that both son and father looking the same is weird, through Mokona's question. So there might be an explanation to this.... (a GOOD one please!)
I was also thinking they would become more powerful then anyone in the future and never age past their twenties because of their magic and live on for hundred of years. And of course, I had a rosy and pinkish idea of their life together.....which is why I *complained* a lot in "What do you think of TRC at this point" thread about both of them going through so much hardships and endless years of suffering that could never be erased, no matter what the final conclusion would be

But on the other hand, the thought of them, like I said in my previous post, to be yet another random SxS couple picked and thrown in the middle, who would be exactly identical to CCS|SxS up to their magic, is just such a mediocre plot story that I cannot seem to accept it without having really SOLID proofs of it. Also, I cannot close my eyes on all the hints given about their identities for the whole series (in both holic and TRC) and which I listed previously.
I guess that my last word would be that there are so many SxS couples involved that it turned absurd -___-
And as Yamisakura said, for everything to be resolved with the 'parents' coming while the *supposedly* heroes are there watching is ridiculous. Or more then watching, I have a feeling that 'Syaoran' is going to make one Hell of an insane wish *shudders*

Well, if we consider "Syaoran's" past, it's 90% confirmed that this Syaoran and this Sakura could be from CCS. Why I say 90%? Because in no way it was explicited they were, in fact, our nostalgic duo: it was all hinted. The Star Wand and their Mahoujins are the ones to blame for this.

I think that Mama!Sakura being CCSakura right now is not true. If she was her, Mama!Sakura would have two star wands. Also, she said someone who is the same existence as her from another world (like Clow, Ceres and Nihon are different dimensions), not another time (like her past and present) lent her power. This "same existence" is something that was exhaustively explained on xxxHOLiC and Tsubasa RC, anyway~ XD "Different people which are also the same".

However, apart from that,Papa!Syaoran and Mama!Sakura do share some things in common:
- One of them is son or daughter of this Nihon's Nadeshiko;
- The sword that's a Li family heirloom, along with the "Syaoran Li" name;
- There are a Yukito and a Touya that are somewhat related to them.

I think that, to try to estabilish that this Mama!Sakura is CCSakura, one of the following would have to happen:

- She showing her Clow Cards and/or Star Wand;
- It's estabilished that Mama!Sakura's Nihon (A), xxxHOLiC's Nihon (B) and Tomoeda's (AKA CCSakura's Nihon) (C) are all one and the same, considering that we already have A=B almost settled because nor "Syaoran" and neither his parents could do dimension crossing - unless there are more entrances to the Wish Shop.

I believe that we will get our answers very, very soon... Unlike the "Syaoran" = CCSyaoran theories that we waited years to have a definitive answer. XD

After reading so many doubts and so many confusion of what CLAMP are doing *sigh* and then proceed to read someone's post in the CHN forum~~ she made a possible thought ;___; I don't really know whether I can continue to believe CLAMP would give us a "logical/satisfying" answer to all these mess

To those believing that CCS|SxS =/= TRC|Syaoran's parents and as well me who don't understand WHY is CLAMP creating more confusion, here's more to ponder on:

It seems like CLAMP is just creating so much confusion and hints to make us assumed them to be CCS|SxS

CLAMP is having fun once again, but I do worry for Mama and Papa's health. I mean, they are strong, but the look in their eyes, (And Fay's) tell me something bad is going to happen.

About the son being similar to the father:
First: Domeki looks like his grandpa, so Syao could be similar to his father.
Second: Maybe it's not his original form. Maybe R!Syao is disguised as his father.

Just thought of something crazy. Maybe CCS!SxS were in the glass because they had to "fill" the existence of R!Syao and R!Sakura on Nihon. So that he could save and blablabla... (insert all the Tsubasa story here XD)

And don't worry, CLAMP WILL give us a good explanation, because they know that if they don't, we will burn them alive

I don't know if anyone has noticed this but the quality of cClamp's drawing has fallen since the last pages of the last chapter! This tells me they are not fully convinced with their own story and/or the illustrator is not able to fully reflect what the scrip writer is willing to show!

Anyways, I hope we get a more logical/believable explanation to the mess Clamp has created!

I've decided about 20 chapters ago not to plot and figure out what the heck is running through our ladies' minds, and now is definitely not a good time to start plotting again, so I'm just going to read your guys' discussions and theories. I must say, some of them are very interesting and plausible. I'm happy to know your brains are still functioning. XD

Oh, what a chapter. It sounds like CLAMP's trying to answer all the questions we've had pent up since Tokyo, but instead it's creating more questions. Right now, I'm just hoping that we find out who FWR wants to bring back to life, why Yuuko disappeared, who R!Syaoran's parents really are, and whether Papa!Syaoran and Mama!Sakura are really trying to rewind time and all of the memories of the journey. I hope I just imagined that or misconstrued their plan, because I really don't want the memories to go away T-T. And I'm also having a bad feeling about the mortality rate of Sakuras and Syaorans. They seem to be dropping dead every few chapters D: It may be just me, but when Papa!Syaoran said that the decision must be made, no matter how painful the choice is, I think he was implying that to save R!Sakura, Papa!Syaoran and Mama!Sakura may run a high risk of dying in the process. That sounds like an extremely painful choice to me ;_; So yeah. What a chapter.

I'm happy to hear Sakura's logo again, though! ^__^ Everything is sure to be alright~

Well, I surely haven't noticed... are you comparing from the RAWs or from the edited chapters? ^^'

But there was a difference in their drawing style for CCSakura. I think they did such to resemble their trace in Cardcaptor Sakura, by the way.

Hmm, I don't think CLAMP's drawing style has deteriorated at all either. I think it's just how well the scanlators clean it up and stuff. I still find everyone to be fantastically drawn. At least, as fantastically drawn as they can be, with blood all over them D:
