'Big announcement' soon to be made

According to this month's installment of Kobato. News!! section in Newtype, there will be some "big announcementt" about Kobato in the next issue of the magazine (release date of January 2009 Newtype: 2008/12/10).

It also says that this month's installment of Kobato News!! was the last one. It says information about Kobato will still be published in Newtype, just no longer in Kobato News!!.

I scanned this from my December issue: this Kobato News!! things is really just one-two pages, located right after the last page of Kobato's chapter, and which is full of...news about Clamp ^^;;

As for the big announcement, the first thing that comes to mind is an anime, but I personally believe it's not that: Clamp didn't even finish the scripts of TRC/Holic OADs + there is too little material to make a full anime of Kobato, and add to it that the story is moving at a super low speed because it's a monthly release...
Some people seems to wish for a MV, which won't be the first time Clamp plays around making music videos and I say: why not? ^^ F
Let's forget already about an artbook: again, too little material...same for a fanbook.

Well! The bet are open until the release of the Newtype ;)

Fresh news from the CLAMP Talk Show that was held in Tokyo yesterday, at the CLAMP in CARDLAND 2nd Official Event.

When asked about Kobato. anime, Ohkawa said that she "can't tell yet" any information about it.

"can't tell yet" seems to be worth waiting...

lol. Ohkawa is being so secretive about the announcement! I highly doubt it's probably related to anime!

We have more update [or should we say "guessing game"] about this "big announcement" that would come forth in the next Newtype magazine

Considering the reduced manga material we've got at hand for the time being, I guess I will bet for an AMV ^^

I believe that 3 books are too little to start an anime from, and Clamp *should* have their hands full with ending the mangas TRC/Holic + finishing the script of the upcoming OVAs of those 2 series.

I'm hoping it'll be made into an anime *_* That'd be so awesome! But that's too unlikely x_x so I'm going to remain realistic and say an amv~

Ah ok! Sherry-chan is right! Chibi vote for an AMV

It seems too early in the story to have an anime already. An AMV or maybe a short OAD would be great though! Hopefully it's something along those lines. :)
