It's the 2nd week in a row that we got a Clone|SakuraxClone|Syaoran splash: for chapter 206, it was a shot of both of them in Koryo Country and now, they are in the Republic of Hanshin...while I do appreciate a lot the Clone| SxS art, are those Clamp's finales goodbyes to them?...or are we given hope that those important moments, and memories, between them we witnessed did mean something and were not all for naught? Is there hope for at least the remaining one to be 'saved'? *very doubtful but oh well...*
As for the chapter in itself, it's pretty much all fighting between both 'Syaoran' with the clone apparently overwhelming the original. Seems like 'Syaoran' tried to remind his clone of the moment 'Sakura' turned into cherry blossom petals in his arms but it doesn't seem like clony reacted much to it ^^;;

Well, it is a short chapter and really not much conversation [or at least we can guess what they may be saying ^^;;;]

I wonder why CLAMP is re-using those really early arc "scene" as their recent splash ^^;;; Did they run out of idea or something??
Anyhow, Cloney is the one that emphasis "That's right, we will end it here". That's really different since normally he only talked about "getting back the feather" but now it changed into becoming a "personal" thing for battling with R|Syaoran!! Is that "himself" that make such statement or is that just a saying through "FWR's commend" or something

Well, my "guess" of what it said in the chapter are pretty close :D Though I suppose the last page is somewhat questionable since
the spoiler said that "the feather gave him extra power"
while your translation suggested that "it is because he need to snatch those feathers from different dimension, so he has been using A LOT of his magic power, thus his power continue to increase with each usage"

Well, I am not saying you are wrong or anything... actually, your translation actually may make more sense as to how his power has came to surpass R|Syaoran. We shall wait and see

Hm... seems like once again the "spoiler" for the chapter is off ^^;;; so, it is really not because of the feather that gave Cloney more power but it is through his continuous usage of Fai's magic that increased it to the point that he has surpass R|Syaoran!!!

Though sadly, I actually would agree with starlady.... I mean it has been "saying" or we are expecting that his magic is/will surpass R|Syaoran since the dreamworld arc because of the "advantage" Cloney get for only having Fai's left eye [which continue to increase its magic power]!!

Though I am still quite concern with Cloney statement:
"That's right. Here... I will make it end."

Wonder if is just "yeah... I will win the battle and finish you off" or if the "make it end" has an extra meaning behind

I love C!Syaoran so, so much <3 and I thought the art in this chapter was great. Particularly the drawing of his brown eye taking in "Syaoran," the bottom pane of "Syaoran" on pg11, and C!Syaoran on pg 14. The growing stronger thing wasn't new, I think him having the same ability as Fay from the eye was a given. But that plus him only working on logical, ignoring body and heart--...that's one powerful boy. I just hope there's a twist out of this. Like YamiSakura said, I think there's more behind the 'making it end.'

...still confused what's up since there's no mention of a feather and FWR didn't even set C!Syaoran on him, they just kind of went together.

Also, I really loved this splash page and last weeks too but I really don't like how the drawing for Syaoran has changed. It doesn't even look like him anymore :/

Dammit! NOTHING HAS CHANGED!!! Cloney is still Cloney! I wanna dang that AssChin on the head! Everytime there's a fight btw Real Syaoran and Cloney, my anxiety levels keeps rising.

This chapter give me a .Clone's magic becomes so strong,He uses the power of Sphere twice or more .It makes Syaoran defeted,Clone now is the dangerous one.What happen to Syaoran after attack power.Yuui looks too shocked to not belive that Clone able to make magic stronger and this is going to be a big problem.FEI!!!!!!!you really derserve to die now because of what you did.

Personally, what marked me was the YOUR Sakura part from the original Syaoran...
It seems to say that the one who is dear to the clone is only Clone|Sakura, and it seems to left off everything else...
...for me this is how clone|Syao goes: he fell in love with his childhood friend Sakura (the ORIGINAL princess) and is ready to make any sacrifices to save her and goes to seek her feathers paying the price of her never remembering their past together...then, he unknowingly starts traveling with Clone|Sakura, convinced it's the real one he has known all his life, and they both rediscover each others through their adventures and somehow fall in love with each other all over again, clone|Sakura being the exact copy [soul+body] of the original...
Meaning that HIS Sakura is not just the clone but also the original who has re-lived those years, with clony this time around, after Time was rewound...
The 'authentic 1st Sakura' the original Syaoran met is long gone, since the Past was rewound and another future unfolded...

Which gets me back to the point I talked about with Maggie more then once already and in which I block completely: Time was rewound and another future was created. The 'Sakura' that 'Syaoran' met got another future with another person (the clone), their bond is gone and we definitely can't go back in Time again...then what is this about wanting to 'restart time' we got when they entered the frozen cut-off laps of time? o__o This cut-off time is isolated from the normal flow of Time and it's collapsing (the whole city is already destroyed) furthermore, the one that gotta be saved we've all seen her since chapter01: the Sakura in the tube. Then what does 'Syaoran' think he could accomplish in this cut-off time?
Even if by some miracle time he restarted time from there, not only would we got 2 versions of Clow Country with 2 different futures, but all the people in the city melted down and since the one same 'Sakura' is involved in both dimensions, are they going to cut her soul in two? *ahaha -dry laugh-* Furthermore, at that point he is already 14 years older then the little Sakura frozen in Time.

That said, this is giving me a headache so I will leave it at that and wait for Clamp to make some sens.
In the end, the most interesting thing out there is still the 2 Syaoran fight~

Oh, thank you so much Sherry-chan and Syaoran-kun. Omigod Cloney!! What is Cloney doing? Stop the fight!!! Oh between, so what Sherry-chan's saying here there're actually 3 Sakura instead of two? The Sakura who re-lived with Cloney those 2 years is actually the clone and orginal? Real Syaoran wants to revive his Sakuras maybe that's the reason why he wants to restart the time. Oh.. gosh, the time rewounding stuff is really confusing.. Chibi gave up of making up theories and see how it goes with the plots

Thanks you guys for posting this~ I always seem to miss translations and such otherwise until the scanlation is posted ~_~ Anyway, I just wanted to say to CuteSherry, your theories are some of the better and less confusing ones I've seen that hasn't broken my brain completely XD I still have this hope that Cloney will surprise us in the coming chapters. I dunno, in my mind after having seen him being the main character and all the changes he's gone through for 100+ chapters I think there's just more to it, like it hasn't all been for nothing? Or so I hope XD

Reading CuteSherry's response I was reminded of the last time Syaoran appeared and Sakura told him that if he kills "Syaoran" then everything will end. At the time he didn't give a bleep since she was blocking his precious feather but now he's actually borrowing her phrase. But instead of heading her words he now seems set on doing the one thing that Sakura was pleading him not to do. Is he doing a kamikaze, then? Does he want it to "end" because he thinks Sakura is gone and because of her words he knows that killing "Syaoran" is the way to end everything, including himself?

Not for anything but what a slap in the face to Sakura. I love you Syaoran but she didn't explode into a thing of petals only for you turn around and stab yourself through the heart too. The girl wants you to live ;_;

Speaking of Chapter 179 though, when Sakura said "as long as those two are alive" I thought she meant Watanuki and "Syaoran" since they both are holding up pretty heavy realities with their existences. Does that mean that since Syaoran is going after "Syaoran" to end this that he will go after Watanuki next? Then again that phrase could have been meant in a whole different way and Sakura could have been talking about the other Sakura and "Syaoran" and saying that if those two were alive then FWR could keep repeating everything and it really will never end >> In that case--what a horrible situation to be in. Someone is going to have to die: either both Sakuras, both Syaorans, or FWR to really end this :/

But even if FWR is the one that told Syaoran to go kill "Syaoran" and Syaoran really doesn't care what Sakura said and doesn't give if his purpose/goal leads to his own death or not, the thing that makes all this fall apart is that if killing “Syaoran” truly ends everything then why the h-- does FWR want this? That would sort of collapse his obsessive years worth of planning. Then again, he apparently already tried this before so...

I see the reasoning behind this, but it's a bit confusing. Then when R!Syaoran get his Sakura back, what will happen to Cloney? And the one that grew up with the clone, how could he get her back? So...will R! Syaoran get the one that's being swallowed by FWR and Cloney get the one FWR has right now, (the soul)

Well, its pretty obvious that CLAMP is trying to make us hate him, but then again, they've done this before (with Fuuma and Seshirou) trying to make us hate the antagonist and then by pulling something right near the end that will make you all feel sorry for them when they die (well, for Fuuma, that's how I predict it will be, anyway.). Here's to that happening again?

C!Syaoran seems pissed, i dont think he's the same as before, he's talking, he's angry, he's using his anger to kill R!Syaoran.. i hope that means he still has some emotions left .. especially after what happened to C!Sakura, he's bound to be resentful.
so by "making it end" are they implying C!Syaoran wants to die? does he want R!Syaoran to kill him? or what? and what about R!Sakura?

Just a thought, a thought which has nothing really to support it, except for Cloney's little quote of ending things ... what if he isn't just the zombie clone, but ... what happens if he IS the Syaoran we knew from the beginning and he feels like killing off "Syaoran" because (and who knows what wisdom he's potentially picked up) he feels that killing "Syaoran" would solve the problems? Perhaps he is taking this very personally - and "Syaoran" to him is the evil one, having desired this wish and choas? Maybe he plans to do away with FWR after this 'final battle.'

There's always so much CLAMP fails to provide us; I mean, maybe there's even more to the story now. (Cloney was gone for such a long time, out of the picture, where was he? Merely collecting feathers? Corresponding with people? Killing people? Collecting souls? Training? Making allies?)

Or, maybe he's simply the heartless evil clone. Irregardless, nice chapter, and I can't wait to see how this is all going to unfold.

Well, when we first see 'Cloney' fight in Rekord (However the fuck that one is spelled--I've seen like 10 different romanizations...) He is emotionless, expressionless, and after severely owning the dog-thing, just cares about the feather. He doesn't even speak at all.

When he goes into full clone mode in Tokyo, he's not really mad at all--he just looks insanely creepy (what CLAMP was going for, I imagine)

But as the fight goes on, he just goes emotionless, just attacking who's in his way. He really doesn't fight anyone unnecessary--besides Fai, which he took the eye because it was 'necessary' he didn't even try to fight Kurogane (besides that kick, but I also attribute it to being because he wanted Fai's other eye.)

One again, Cloney looks pretty blank to me. If he's feeling anything, its annoyance because this guy has a feather and won't hand it over. There's no emotion behind it at all.

So, its quite clear that Cloney is definitely right now feeling anger, LOTS of it, when he previously never felt an emotion. It is also VERY possible he feels sadness.

Emotions = heart, or something very close to it, since body memories only made him keep himself from killing Sakura before. So what do I think due to this analysis? Cloney somehow got his heart back, or C!Sakura transfered something to him when she died. But, being in FWR's hands, probably mad at himself and the world, possibly mad at R!Syaoran for him screwing up the world (and maybe a bit for being the real one) went just a bit psycho. I think that he's attacking mercilessly at R!Syaoran to vent, and possibly to get R!Syaoran to kill him in desperation.

Really, the boy was upset about changing the future (even if it was for the better) I doubt that our 'old' Cloney could live with himself were he suddenly to come back and discover what he did, especially with what happened to Sakura.

So there's your analysis and my conclusion, take it as you will.

In this battle, I kin of think that Syao is really angry at himself and "Syaoran" is himself therefore he is trying his hardest to kill "Syaoran" because if "Syaoran" fights back with the same passion, Syao will die and he will have taken anger out on himself as well. And there is definately more emotion in his eyes now, especially during this fight.

Also, one more thing I noticed--CLAMP is showing a lot more of his brown eye in the recent chapters, when usually if they only showed one of Cloney's eyes, it was the blue one.

Wasn't it his right eye he saw that one Sakura petal in, too? I think that might mean something, as well.

At first Syaoran has no feelings at all,it's all about Feathers.Then When he get to Nihon and Sakura disappear,He feels,he did something wrong.
In Clow Clone feels really sad about what happen but when he fight Syaoran,he fights him with anger not sadness.I feel that Clone emotions sometimes appear,we will next chapter what he thinks.
