Ashura's translation *seems to* give us a bit of hope since SxS might have said that they would 'meet again' with Watanuki, though it's not clear who said this sentence, so Watanuki might have been the one saying it (="I will die and join you in Heaven"....)...still, they say the same thing in vol10ch117 of Holic, when Watanuki fell down the window and we could see bloody arms reaching for him, those *arms* (his parents=SxS) told him "Some day, we will meet again, we will be waiting for you.....", afterward, they said that meanwhile, he would meet new people and live together with them blablabla
Now, don't rejoice too fast, because it had a VERY omnious feeling to it, meaning: "we will meet in the afterlife and meanwhile you will stay with the Living and learn to live with them and appreciate them"

It might feels weird, but all the latest revelations didn't make me hate FWR more at all...He is the 'bad guy' in all this and everything and we don't like him blablablabla but while he provoked the events, still, 'Syaoran' consciously choose and made his own decisions, breaking a taboo for his wish.
And keep in mind Syaoran is my forever most loved male character, so for me to be upset, he really went far: sad, but all I could see is a weak will from him, and how he was played and manipulated in FWR's hands.

I am actually beginning to believe that Fei Wong is like Seishiro and other hated characters: you hate them so much that it's unbearable and then you realise that they weren't so bad afterall. And actually begin to like them.

No! Butt Chin is NOT like Seishrou! Seishrou's diffrent and at least he got a heart at the end! Sure Sei was all evil and you learn to like him in a weird way but Butt Chin shall never be liked! Well at least for me.

I'm sorry but I'm like depressed by these spoilers! And to make things worse I'm listening to sad music...

So...our fav. CCS couple are gone? That is just too sad, and to make things worse, "Syaoran" isn't going to see them again and he only knew him for a few years...This just makes me hate Butt Chin even more, but how are we sure that he killed off the couple? It could be someone else.

WATANUKI FELL OUT OF THE WINDOW ON PURPOSE? IT WASN'T HIMAWARI'S FAULT?! WHAT THE HELL?!!! I mean, people are talking about how the way he fell out of the window was wonky but I never guessed... So he was trying to act like a Shadow Double like in X in order to save Shaoran Jr.'s life huh?

I don't know who I want to scream at most. Shaoran Jr. for causing this in the first place or Watanuki for doing that STUPID STUPID stunt!

For those who are worrying about CCS!Sakura and Syaoran, there may be some hope for them yet I think.

Chapter 168

The distortion brought forth because of the "time that Shaoran rewound", that's Watanuki!! Yuuko's words spin a tragedy!!

If he didn't exist, wouldn't his parents have continued on without dying? Those feelings and regrets become Watanuki's predisposition to attract ayakashi. And at that time when Shaoran faced the clone and was about to die, Watanuki subconsciously tried to protect Shaoran by erasing his own life. That was the cause of the incident where he fell from the school building.

It's no good if Watanuki disappears. It's not only Maru and Moro who thus wish. Responding to the feelings of the several people he's met until now, even Watanuki himself changed to the point of wishing, "I want to be here."

Yuuko: The stronger it's wished for, the stronger it gets.
Along with that child,
the future too will change.

The fact that Watanuki is alone now is something he himself chose. "If Shaoran is alone, I should be as well." However, that memory was given as payment and no longer remains. A few remaining memories exist only because of Fei Wang's curse. (T/N: I'm not sure about this one.) In short, not necessarily all memories are true. The feelings entrusted by his parents into a fake name. "I'll go meet you, without fail." (T/N: This is worded as a quote. Whose and about what, I'm not sure.)

Watanuki's existence is sorrowful, ephemeral, and overflowing with subconscious courage. "I'll go meet you, without fail." His parents' feelings, true!!

To change the future through the feelings of comrades. With everyone, certainly, we can get there!! Wait for the next issue!!

Well, so we know that the distortion that bought Syaoran's time rewound was the result of Watanuki being created. For some reasons, i feel awefully sorry for Watanuki, given that his parents had to given up their lives for his existance (poor Sakura and Syaoran, Sad

) and through that, he has to live with those feelings of regrets and being chase around by those crazee spirits/ghosts. Also, it is seem quite revelation to me that the incident where Watanuki fell from the building was the cause of his subconsciously tried to protect the real Syaoran from the Clone when he was about to die ( thus, his condition wasn't that bad and I simply don't understand why they said he was about to die huh

Finally, we know that Watanuki chose to be alone because he knows Syaoran is also alone in the other world. ( I guess Wata has finally realized that he is just another artificial creation of Syaoran's self that's why he always feel wanting to dissapear) . Also, I'm not really sure what Wata meant by "I'll go meet you, without fail" does this mean he really want to erase his own life so he could see his parents again? Neutral

so because watanuki has mad syaoran hate-himself thing going on he's dragging domeki down with him (because domeki's there because watanuki's alone) and since domeki's with him that further solidifies watanuki's place thus increasing domeki's time with him and thus increasing the chances that domeki'll end up being killed by something that's after watanuki (yet again because of watanuki's self-hatred thingy)...

Lessee: nokiirat from LJ posts spoilers she finds on this japanese website from a guy called bare-san on the clamp_now community. We then wait to see if either starlady38 or ashura_sama translates them. For the most curious you can run it through babelfish.

You're right that Watanuki wouldn't want Doumeki to get hurt that's why Watanuki keeps pushing him away. But that was also because he WANTED to be alone because of the promise he made to Syaoran Jr. He doesn't remember but his body remembers as what Black Mokona said.

Up until now though, even if Watanuki accepts Doumeki's presence there's still that distance between them. Watanuki wants to stay so he should be more accepting of Doumeki by now(well, more than whats indicated IMO). Makes you really worry about what Doumeki has to do for Watanuki if Watanuki was that serious in the past of keeping Doumeki away from him. And since this is CLAMP, we know its going to hurt REAL BAD.

Also, don't forget Fei Wong Reed's foresight to screw up little kiddies so they grow up to be bigger screw-ups.

you know, if it wasn't for fei wong and sakura kinomoto's dreams... I think domeki and syaoran II would've probably ended up together..

it seems to me though that watanuki seems to have quite a bit of subconcious power.... I wonder if that subconcious reality manipulation is a key to sucessfully using the incredibly ambiguous power of sakuras feathers... what's more powerful than time/dimension control? as changing time can change whether someone is dead or not... it would seem as though time control is more powerful than the control of life and death... so what power could sakuras feathers really possess that's more than the power of time?

I'd argue that Watanuki and Shaoran Jr. are technically different people but what the hell. I KILL to see that happen.

Watanuki is already working on that. He DID say that he wanted to stay and not disappear. There's just no guarantee that he won't and deep down he knows that, even if not consciously. But since he already promised Doumeki that he doesn't want to disappear and said that that will never change you can bet that he'll fight to the end, and that Doumeki will as well.

As for his significant other dying... Well, CLAMP has killed for less.

If CCS|SXS die, I'm going to wear black, and go to the CLAMP headquarters to complain!!! CCSakura and Syaoran just can't die! They still need to watch over the Clow Cards!!! I don't care what anybody else's think! I'm guarantee Sakura and Syaoran are still alive!! Yes, it could be possible! Clamp has always been playing a trick on us so I'm guessing this could be another one of their infamous twist!

were syaoran and sakura ever actually a couple during the cardcaptor sakura manga? I don't think they were... it's been a long time since I've read them but don't they just confess their feelings to eachother like right at the end? and then the only reference to them actually being in the "couple" stage was in xxxholic... like how many years after the end of ccs? I think most people are just in love with the fanon of the couple
