You've raised a good question there, Kaya!^ I think Syaoran is there because of his choice! If he's still wanting to get the feather, he should be in Tokyo Acid by now, why would he chase after the gang when he still has his mission to do?Yep, there could be something, I don't know but Cloney does look a bit gloomy! He might have heard Syaoran story.

Well, there's also the third option which is... FWR told/transport him there ^^ especially, previously in the dreamworld, it is obvious that C|Syaoran can directly take FWR's order [not just the programmed one - must get feather] too when FWR told him to "kill" C|Sakura.

Hm... though while I was staring at the last page... I wonder if C|Syaoran has been standing there for quite a long time or if he just got there ^^;;; because as you said... there's "suddenly" a gust of wind when C|Syaoran appear. Or of course maybe it is CLAMP dramatic effect XD like the previous double page [pg. 6-7] with that pose of R|Syaoran

Yeah but even with that there has to be a feather involved, because the reason he was there and set on killing was because the feather :/

Okay so when/if "Syaoran" takes the hand, will she will see the world as it is now? Like Kurogane, Fay, Syaoran, and "Syaoran" in all their aged forms because they're in cut-off time? Or will him taking her hand make the others, as we know them, disappear? Including the Sakura we know?

....maybe Syaoran will take "Sakura's" hand instead lol I don't even want to think how that will distort things! >>

Well, I always thought the 'taking hand' thing was figurative and not to be taken literally since, really, taking her hand wouldn't have changed anything then *FWR was overwhelmingly more powerful then kid 'Syaoran'* and taking the hand of that 'frozen in Time Sakura' wouldn't really do much either ^^;;;

Anyway, Clamp pretty much already spoiled us from the start how the Syao/Saku confrontation/re-encounter will be: the tube scene from chapter01.
Though, if there are multiple Sakura to save, then I don't know anymore ^^;

Yeah,maybe the ''Taking Hand'' will not do something to other,At begining,i thought the time is stopped when Sakura was stabbed by seal and Syaoran went young,If it was the time stop,it will be a problem because it changed their past so if it is the time stopped,it will be so big problem because they will disappear.Fei wants to grant his wish,Fei want Sakura's power to grant his wish.Yuko said Fei wants ONLY ONE TO SURVIVE to be WITH SAKURA!!That's means that he doesn't care if other die.I Think R!Syaoran will go to tube after C!Syaoran's battle.I think there is a lot of bad things will be in the battle.

I don't think it's entirely fugitive because what else was he planning on doing by coming back to this moment? ^^; Though I'm a little confused in the translations since it says 'time has been stopped forever in these ruins' and then 'In a little while, it'll be the same time as when I decided to turn back time.' ???

But speaking of the tube scene, if this "Sakura" is frozen in time here doesn't that mean the one in the tube isn't the same? O_o?

I don't know if this could apply but somehow i think, that the Ruins are in a different and completely totally separate dimension to the country.
Just like Yuuko, she could place herself into a different dimension but also at the same time it doesn't seem like so.

It could be just me, but somehow i just think the Ruins are in a different dimension once you enter. That could be the reason why other people can't enter the ruins.

So, I'm confused. Perhaps I'm not thinking about this as much as I should. Which Sakura is this? It's not the Sakura cloney grew up with, is it? Nor the clone?

It's a reversed Sakura, frozen in time?

As for Cloney, perhaps you guys are just being hopeful ... he's covered in blood; and still carries the emotionless face. I can't catch a sense of gloom in his face.

But to have Cloney in a final battle? I really don't like it. Well, I feel like CLAMP's just kind of carried this on ... it's rather pointless. Watanuki and that women ... and his desire to mess with time all because his mother's dream of him "meeting someone", who looks identical to her, and wishing to protect her..

CCS|| Sakura and Syaorandead ... this just isn't the climax I thought it would be ...

I guess that's the point. I am very anxious for this data to be collected ...

Perhaps Clone Syaoran has a backstory to his long absence, or perhaps Clone Syaoran is doing this for his own sake, not FWR's...

Well, it's just hard to imagine what would have changed: he would have taken her hand and then, magically, a rainbow of color and twinkling stars would have burst from them and the Devil would have been defeated by their blinding light? blablabla *yeah, I'm being real cynical here ^^;;* Even now: imagine 'Syaoran' walking toward this child frozen in Time and taking her hand: then what? Time will restart again at the instant their hands touches or something? ^^;;;;;;
I know there IS something about their hands and them touching, Clamp made it clear, but I'm just not expecting any huge miracle from it either.
The real one who would have been saved, if Sakura's hand was taken, would have been 'Syaoran' himself: his whole life in Clow Country, and until now, is shadowed by his hesitation at taking her hand and the eternal regret of not keeping his promise of protecting her. If he had taken her hand without hesitation, even though FWR would have thrown him away afterward, he wouldn't have been eaten up with remorse; the thing is he didn't do his best, he believes he could have done more and that moment hesitation was at the origin of everything.
It's really just like you said above: he is taking all the guilt on him.

I sure hope the clone|Syaoran possible death won't just serves as an 'illustration' of 'Syaoran' not hesitating anymore to do whatever for the sake of his wish ^^;; I'm still crossing my fingers and hoping Clamp thought something a bit more elaborate for him other then dying in the ruins at the hands of 'Syaoran'.

Well, about a possible SxS relationship in TRC, I'm really not expecting any actually: from the start, it gave off a bit of a weird feeling to have him falling for a carbon copy of his own mother, specially since he recognized himself it was the case from the very moment he saw her face, and even considering those two Sakura really are not the same person.
If not enough, Clamp showed quite clearly that while 'Syaoran' valued a lot the princess in the flashbacks, he still was no where near being a 'teenager in love' and did not show at any moment real 'Love' toward her either. The huge difference in the 'repeat' of chapter01 between when it was him and when it was his clone was a real eye opener, if we didn't have it clear enough already. If you add to it that with the Time rewound she forgot all about him and that he is 7 years older then her at this point -___-
Nothing should *really* matter if they were in love but, yeah, I just don't get the feeling it's getting us to this...

CCS|SxS being dead is not welcomed by anyone as far as I know: it's very frustrating to have them dead without knowing how or when, and while sacrificing themselves for their children is no surprise but it doesn't really match their 'spirit' of fighting to their best to the very end. It's also hard to believe they would actually think their could ever be any future happiness awaiting their children that could be based on their bloody sacrifice...
Anyway, I'm still positive they will be fine in the end, somehow ^^ Neither Clow Reed nor Yuuko would have wanted a future at the price of their lives, I think.
