Re: Evolution
I'm Roman Catholic, but I wasn't brought up strictly to believe in it nor did I learn a lot about it, just the basics. So I have to say, I'm actually more interested in the evolution theory because it actually makes more sense to me. I won't get into a debate about it or anything, but I've always been very interested in the topic and I've had several classes such as history and astronomy that involved the subject so I've always liked learning about it~

Re: Evolution
I'm in support of the evolution theory. No religion has been able to convince me otherwise, and I can't be arsed to wrack my brains for my own theory.

Re: Evolution
I support the evolution theory. Like Amethyst Rose mentioned, I find it actually makes more sense to me and those scientific findings are always accurate (well, that's just based on opinion)

Re: Evolution
This topic has always been such a detable one.
I was raised Catholic, however - there are two seperate creation stories. One which features Adam and Eve, and the other which features "seven days and seven nights."
Evolution makes more sense to me. I simply can't obey a book that was written by four people who heard it from other (seemingly reliable) sources. No direspect intended for those of you who follow the Bible or believe it to be true-it's entirely your choice and your perspective and who knows, I can't prove I'm right!
A lot of people choose not to believe in evolution, and some people make me a bit upset-they're only evidence for not believing in it is that they don't wish to be compared to apes/monkeys. I know quite a few don't do this, but the ones who do don't offer me a good enough argument.
Evolution happens, and it continues to happen. You want some proof? Take a look at your hand. Spread your fingers apart from each other. Place the three fingers from your palm and pink down. Take note of how your three index fingers are all connected-but your pinky, although moving a little down - can stay sepeate. What does this prove? Gradually, our pinker fingers are becoming thumbs. They will most likely move downwards and become a thumb. They are not as connected as the three other fingers are. However, this isn't entirely proof in itself, as it'll take many years for this process to happen.
