Thanks Heaven I swear to all the Gods, Saints and Demons that I would completely stop reading spoilers something like 2-3 days ago... *the irony of life*
But here I am, lowly sinner *sighing dramatically*

Now, more seriously, I saw the spoilers were, like, 2 lines, and that it really wouldn't spoil me much ^^;; But yeah, if it was a whole paragraph with the whole text (like it happened months back), I would have completely skipped it since I sincerely do not wish to spoil myself, considering this is the end of the series already, I want to enjoy it peacefully, reading the chapters directly.

This is my first post/thread as a mod :D

And now, about the 'smashed up' part, I was gawking when I saw that. I don't know what kind of image comes to your mind when reading this expression, but woah, my brain registered 'smashed up' quite violently and I was 'EEEHHHHHHH!!!???"ing @___@

I agree with you,clamp-fan.I hope there is spoilers which we can understand what is going on.

I think,clamp-fan that Clone open Fei's Dimenison by a great magic.He took the chance to do that by taking Syaoran to fei to let him open the cocoun in page 05 so he could open his dimension, i think this happen in last page of the chapter.

The thing about those spoilers is that the word 'smashed' is really in there ^^; --> 砕け散った --> v. (Hira=くだけちる) be smashed up.

On the other side, those are subjective spoilers from somebody, nothing official. So as you said we still gotta wait to see the actual chapter ^^
Someone suggested in suu-chan Lj thread that the clone's soul might leave the smashed body and enter the tube in which the princess soul is, I found it quite original.
The problem is that the clone we are seeing is completely expressionless: he gained some kind of awareness and have a soul, but not a heart, at least from what I saw of him in chapter209 and before. On the other side, if you remember the tube scene in chapter01, the Syaoran inside was everything but poker faced ^^;;
Still, as said before, this is a nice possibility ^^

@CS, the ONLY way you would really avoid yourself from reading spoiler is that su-chan spoiler entry isn't in your F-list XD XD since she never LJ-cut spoiler

I think a better word for the "smash" would be "torn apart"... at least that's the impression I got when I read the spoiler [from the CHN translation]

So literary, would be "The Clone body is torn apart"

As for the title... the CHN->ENG translation would be "Those words/talk that are desperate to know" ...

The actual translation said Cloney's body torned apart, does that mean Cloney is really dead T___T Nuuu...

Tsubasa has always got me to consider what "death" actually meant.

For instance, if death was merely limited to having a body-the C!Sakura is most certainly dead. Her soul was destoryed (which to me is an ultimate death), while her body lives. So, is she still alive, technically? Well, a part of her is! Her body! Which is only the piece of the massive puzzle to what is considered "life."

R!Sakura's body was destroyed. Shouldn't that signal death? Her body doesn't breathe, doesn't bleed, she carries no vessel. If it were easy to transfer souls into bodies, than - wouldn't Yuuko be inaccurate in saying that the dead cannot, under any circumstances, be returned?

However, interesting enough, FWR makes a statement about transfering Cloney's soul into the original. Obviously the body is no longer a prime tool for what "life" is. This brings up more questions. Is it possible that one could "catch" a soul after death? The soul - the vessel which lives on after death?

Or is a person not just one thing, but a mixture? A body-heart-soul. Perhaps a person is never really one thing; and even leaving a body means that a person is no longer whole? Which defies a commonly held concept that a soul is immortal? A soul is only one part-but the body (which contains memories) is very essential.

Or is there a certain way to to die-to finalize the "no return". Perhaps age is the ultimate finalizer; maybe death by magic isn't.

I'm quite sad about Cloney's body being torn apart, but maybe this is the only way to reach the soul of the trapped R!Sakura? Perhaps, in the end, the story falls back into place and is focused on how it primarily began from when we, the readers, were introduced. A story of two people in love-losing each other...the story of Clone Syaoran and Sakura.

Perhaps the death of one is the division we witness; either Syaoran or Sakura is taking to the final destination. Sakura, with wings growing on her back, maybe forced to return to life-maybe in the new vessel of her clone. And Syaoran, is the one who must parish finally.

Or, the other way around - Syaoran is dormant in the tube, whiling Sakura's wings take her to her final end.

Interesting prospect...I've been thinking a lot. Hope it sort of made sense?

The thing is I just became a mod and I can now edit/erase member's posts, and I heard it was not unusual for new mods to make...'errors'; so when your post disappeared I started wondering if I didn't unconsciously delete it somehow...but no matter how hard I thought about it, I was sure I really didn't touch it ^^;; So in the doubt, I decided to ask aha~ Sorry ^^;;

As for the spoilers, they always appears in 2ch forum, it's one of the biggest and most popular japanese forum there is ^^

The thing is, while a chapter is released in the magazine on Wednesday, you have to think about the time needed between the moment the editors get the originals from Clamp, check them, get them to be printed, then send to the shops that will release them etc etc...and this takes LOTS of time! Actually, at this right moment, chapter 210 is already in the editors hands and maybe already printed and everything ^^; (actually, maybe chapter 211 and further are too...).
So I can only guess that *someone* got his/her ways in this 'mechanism', and leaks the spoilers of the chapters he/she sees in the middle of the large process it takes between the moment the originals are handed down and when the general public get them in hands.
At some point, months back, more then spoilers it almost felt like the whole chapter was posted: all the text/conversation was put days before the chapters were released ^^;; But now we are back to 2-3 lines spoilers.

Cloney does have a heart and what he was doing was just ta help the gang ta defeat ButtChin!!Cloney's protecting Real Syaoran is a hero n___n Still, it's horric ta hear Cloney's body being torn apart! It's not fair! Why is it Clamp always trying to find a way to kill off every single Cloney? Cloney Sakura is dead and now her beloved Syaoran as well? I'm really excited about this chapter! I liked getting "Syaoran"s back story but I'm really glad the story is moving toward the end now! <3

Lol That's a pretty narrow way to determine something xD Just because Fay smiled didn't mean he was happy. And Syaoran had a piece of "Syaoran'"s heart but when he was a child he wasn't able to show any facial expressions at first. Expression of feelings takes more than just the possession of a heart.

I think in regards to TRC at least, it's definitely a mixture. Though on top of these three things you'd have to add 'life' and 'fate' as components. It's something that Fay hinted at way back in Hanshin, but which was poorly translated. Watanuki vs "Syaoran" and "Syaoran" vs Syaoran are probably perfect examples of this mixture idea though.

By the way, I'm liking your tube ideas too =D

I would elaborate the idea about the heart thingy... This is MORE than just zero expression as in Cloney is not showing his emotion out!! My thought of Cloney after reading Chapter 209: I think instead of saying Cloney has grown a heart; I believe is better to say he has a conscious or maybe "awareness". Since if a person has a heart, it will certainly come with emotion/feeling and when he stabbed himself and got stabbed by FWR, his expression NEVER changed!! He didn't even FEEL any pain that is totally different from your example of "because Fay smiled didn't mean he was happy." He is still the same person that feel nothing and has no emotion. Though somehow through the process of C|Sakura's incident... maybe "something" within him somehow give him awareness [or maybe his body memories completely take over the clone program and that he is acting according to his body memory]

he only had half a heart at the beginning and it was something that's force into him.... he was NOT a child who wasn't able to... BUT he was a created being in which emotion is not something that was supposely built into him.... Despite he was given half a heart, but that is different than a human who was born with a heart. At the beginning, it is something that is NOT nature to him until times went by that Cloney had adapted to "that heart" as he grew up during the 7 years!!

As you said, Clamp has distinguished between (1) Body (2) Heart (3) Soul as 3 separate component for an existance of human being!! For a complete human, all 3 are necessary to exist.... However, I believe the most important part and the definition of TRC's death would be if a person soul is gone!! In which, we can say accurately that R|Sakura, despite her body was destroyed during the process of cloning at the beginning; however, her soul still lives on and safely "trapped" in the tube by FWR!! So, we can say R|Sakura is alive!! However, to the contrast... despite C|Sakura's body is remain but it is only a lifeless form that has no difference than a corpse.... C|Sakura's soul was stabbed and disappeared into Cherry Blossom... the soul is the most essential part for basic functionality and varies things that would resemble a "living" person/being!! So, C|Sakura IS considered dead

As for the heart.... from my understanding, it is directly related toward feeling, emotion and will!! In Clamp's establish universe for TRC.... a person can live WITHOUT a heart just as Cloney during Tokyo arc... he had no emotion, and even if his arm was broken, he felt no pain. However, Cloney can still move, fight and follow orders from FWR.... we can say he is VERY MUCH alive!! So in the end, I believe that Cloney had both body and soul... until this chapter... he ONLY has his soul left!!!! So, his soul IF it is properly stored or exist somewhere [like C|Sakura previously in which her soul was living in dreamworld]... Cloney could still considered as alive!?

What do you mean by "last chapter"?? If you mean "last chapter" for the entire TRC series... then NO... we still have a looooooooong way to go!! So don't worry we are just getting to the GOOD part
If you are asking if this is the "last chapter" of this volume, then YES... it is, and we will be getting new color pages for the next chapter :D
