Ok i saw this on another site but it wasn't an rp so I though wouldn't that be fun so here's how it works You list the members of your family then explain their current status like this:
Mother: Deceased
Father missing
Younger Sister: still here (though i wish other wise)
You can use OC's and even provide visuals if u like
hopefully i didn't leave anything out im not the best at explainations
asy questions don't hesitate to ask

It was a long day and we hadn't found any leads to the rest of out family.
"Come on Ryku we should find a place to eat and rest a while." Akira said.
I rubbed my eyes. "How come neither of us can remember what happened?"
"I don't know, we've been through this a million times I'm sure when we find them and maybe they know something." We entered a cafe and ordered some food.
I sighed "I wish there was a way to find them quicker."

Father: Kaien Cross (Vampire Knight) Currently Missiong

I couldn't think of a mother yet... so I'm just going to have her be unknown for now. LOL! Time for the first post! Yay!

"Komui-kun! We can't stay here all day! You have to get back to work!" I said a little too loudly in the cafe where we had been for the past four hours since my brother didn't want to leave to go back to work.

"But I don't wanna go back to work. I'm comfortable right here. And look, I haven't even finished my coffee yet." Komui said as he pointed to his two third full cup.

I sighed. That coffee was so cold that I doubted he would drink it now. I looked around and blushed as I realzied some of the other customers were staring at us.
"Look what you did. We have people staring at us now."

"You did that." He said as he took a small micro sip of his drink.

I shook my head. "You did that since they are probably wondering when we'll leave here." I put my arms on the table and then rested my head on them, hopeing we would leave soon.

I was fast asleep in my bed, as usual. Suddenly Hokuto's voice enters my room. "Amaru! Wake up or your going to be late!" She said slamming my door shut and jolting me awake. I grogingly woke up and went to change into my school uniform.

It has been 7 years since my mother's death and my father and siblings disappearances. I had been taken in by my cousins Hokuto and Subaru. As long as I helped keep the apartment clean and kept up on my school work, I was allowed to stay, which is what I did.

"I hope I don't have to tell you again, Amaru!" she called from the other side of the door. "I'm up Hokuto-chan...stop bugging me already." I called back as I grabbed my school bag from off my desk chair.

I closed my eyes. Concentrate... I though to myself as I searched deep into my memories gradually getting closer and closer to the that time. Just as I came up to the event right before Akaira grabbed my hand. I snapped painfully back into the present.
"Oww..." I growled.
"You know what happened last time you did that... don't try to force it." He scolded quietly.
"I'm stronger than I was before."
"Yes but I don't want you to risk it. I want to find them just as bad as you do but it's no good if it kills us."
I sighed knowing he was right. I just hope no one has killed them first. I thought sadly.

Amaru:

As I headed to school, I always took the route that lead me through the park. I always felt comfortable around things of nature. Yet I always felt like I was being watched. I got to school early and was greeted by Sakura. "Ohayo, Amaru-chan!" she greeted me. "Ohayo Sakura-chan..."

Reikou:

"Why don't you show yourself to your own sister?" Baron asked me. Baron has been my closest friend since I had escaped the hunters. His ability to hide auras was very useful, but since he wasn't of a fighter type, that left me to defend us when we ran into trouble. "If I show myself to her...her own powers would awaken. She isn't ready yet to face such a life. Lets go...Akira wanted us to report back to him asap." I said starting to leave the park.

After we finished up at the cafe we walked outside.
"Where are we going to now?" I sighed.
"Somewhere to stay for a while that's not too expensive."
I frowned I didn't want to sleep or just sit around for the longest time we've been traveling almost non-stop resting whenever he thought I was tired. I missed not being the center of attention. "I'm not tired." I said firmly.
"Relax .. we're just going to stay here a while, and you should get some rest you haven't slept for days." I sighed.
I blew a piece of hair out of my face and rolled my eyes.
"I'll go find us a place to stay you can go look around if you want but stay in contact." He said tapping his temple with his index finger. "We'll meet back here later."
He was off.
Why is he always doing that to me? oh well might as well look around. I kept my mind open so he wouldn't worry.

Reikou:

Me and Baron arrived at the meeting spot and saw Akira approach. "Reporting in from the southern edge of town...nothing that could be a link." I said as we both saluted him. "The lead that was given was false." said Baron.

Akira:
"Damn.... and there are no other leads?" I asked trying not to let my emotions get out of hand or Ryku would sense it. She was already suspicious though she acted otherwise.

Ryku:
I walked along the sidewalk. "What am I gonna do...?" I looked around. Wha---?! Keep going.. I passed a store. I wasn't the shopping type and I steered away from anything dressy and pink. I continued to walk on and hummed to occupy myself

Reikou:

"I'm afraid not sir. We haven't found any others." I kept my stoic look even though thoughts of my sister flooded my head. I knew I shouldn't have gone to see her.

Baron:

"Is there anything else you need us to do sir?" I asked. We vowed our service to Akira as guards because of our abilities.

Akira:
"No..." I sighed. Adrenelline shot through my body. "Ryku!" I whispered. Ryku! What's wrong?!
Nothing she replied false alarm
Don't lie! Where are you now?
It's nothing I can't hadle! she shouted back and then cut me off.
Ryku!... No response.
"Sorry but I must leave report back if you hear anything else."

Ryku:
I've never known him to be so up tight sheesh... I thought to myself as I ran.
I took some sharp turns and ran carefully in circle a few times.
Lost 'im... that was close... better find Akira be for he has a cow...

Reikou:

"Baron...go with him...they need your ability to cover auras a lot more than me." I said heading out.

Baron:

Stubborn bastard. First he wants me around to make sure his sister or anyone else can't sense him or his powers and the next he pushes me away...

Akira:
"No ... I'll do this on my own. My sister can't know about this."

Ryku:
Oh crap!

Reikou:

"Fine...We will return here in 2 days to report." I said doing a final salute before leaving.

Baron:

I did a quick salute and went with Reikou. "Your a really pain, you know that Rei..." He was giving me the silent treatment now. Smart XXX.

Akira:
I nodded and took off.

Ryku:
There's no way this person is human that or they're really good. I continued to run and ran staight into Akira. Oh just kill me why don'tcha?
"Come on." He said picking me up.
"H-hey! Wait you're not going to--"
He morphed into his wolf form and quickly left. When we were far enough away he set me down.
"Are you an idiot?" I aked as he changed back. "What if someone saw you?!"
"I don't care you were in trouble." He said calmly
I sighed. "I give up... besides I had my cloak on so the person couldn't have recognized me."

Amaru:

After school was over, I went straight back to the apartment to do some cleaning before Hokuto and Subaru got back. As usual when Hokuto got back, she dragged me into her room. I call it her designer studio, and had me try on several different outfits to see which one looked good. "Hokuto-chan...can't I have one day without you torturing me?"

Hokuto:

I smiled at my young cousin. "Nope. Plus Subaru won't help me...and I'm not making him because he is forced to stay in his room until he gets better." I started to grumble about how he didn't tell me that he wasn't feeling well and I allowed him to do work.

Reikou:

"You don't have to hang around me if you don't want to...sooner or later the hunters will find me..."

Baron:

"Shut yer yapper...I told you that I would stick with for as long as fate allows and that is what I'm going to do."

Akira:
I sighed. "Let's go find a place to rest. We'll be here for a couple of days so try not to get into much trouble."

Ryku:
I nodded sometimes.... We arrived at the apartment we'd be staying at for a few days. I sat on the carpet and stared at the sealing. I thought about everything and nothing at the same time.

Amaru:

"Hokuto-chan! I just cleaned up in here!" I yelled. I'm pretty sure that the neighbors heard.

Hokuto:

"Ohohoho~ Then once I'm done, I'll help you clean ok? No need to freak out."

Ryku:
I changed to my half form. "That feels better."
"We have to figure out who's after you and if they know." Akira said sitting down in his half form aswell.
"Later right now I don't care..."
He frowned and I ignored him, he was only two minutes older an was acting like my ....father.

"Komui! I'm bored..." I whined. "Can we at least go home since it's too late for work now..."

Komui had his head down and looked like he was sleeping.

"I give up. I'm leaving. I'll see you at home. Later." I sighed and ran out of the cafe where It had spent who knew how long in there. I marched away from there unsure of where I was going, and not even caring. I just wanted to get away from there. I think I bumped into some people, but I can't even remember anything at all. I sat down on a park bench and tried to forget that me and my brother were searching for our father. And my younger sister was out there looking for him. I was so worried about her.... but we had no way to contact her to see if she was safe.

Ryku:
"I'm gonna go for a walk." I said.
"Okay don't get in to trouble or wander to far."
"Yea Yea what ever." I said walking out of the house shifting just as I walked out the door. I walked down the street and pulled my hood over my head. Abscent mindedly I started to sing in a low soft voice.
I miss my family. I thought sadly.

Amaru:

"I'm going for a walk..." I said with a sigh. As I came out the door I bumped in to a girl. "Oh gomenasi...hey your new here aren't you? I'm Amaru." I greeted.

Ryku:
"H-hai." I said taking a quick step back.

Amaru:

I was puzzled by her sudden step back. "What's your name?" I asked politely.

Ryku:
I wondered if I should tell her my real name. Why not it couldn't hurt ...too much. I figured there's nothing I couldn't handle. "R-Ryku."

Amaru:

"Well its nice to meet you Ryku. Would you like to walk with me? I was just planning on going over to the park across the street." I offered.
