EDIT: Nevermind, it's in this thread. The onemanga translation is different from the other translations. YamiSakura has certainly provided a very strong possiblility, but it's not certain yet. :/ I could entirely comprehend the fact that 'other world' could mean her past-self.

Yes, you put this post in while I posting it after finding it, lol. ^.^' I did make an attempt to find it. I don't know how I feel in regards to it, currently. I'm utterly confused and unsure of what to think right now. ~_~

Seems like we got an horde of Sakura and Syaoran.
So now, seeing the number of them we got, and they might still be proliferating at this right moment, 'Sakura' and 'Syaoran' seems to have gone through innovation (just like Setsuna in gundam 00) and turned into a whole new specie, thus the appearance of expressions like "to be a Sakura/Syaoran". There are also projects about how to bred and raise those 2 after mass clone production [etc]

This is just how absurd this chapter would be if we don't take a step back and don't panic.


Back on track, Clamp is playing a dangerous game and are riding on the thin frontier between absurd and intricate plot.
Introducing a 4th SxS couple at this point is simply useless and uninteresting for both the fans and the plot.
So it's simply not the case, no need to think further.
Both Adult and Teenager Sakura got a same staff ("This is a very precious thing to you, isn't it?"), same magic/magic circle (star magic) and Adult|Sakura obviously knew about the existence of the cards, else Teenager|Sakura wouldn't have said "Even without the staff, the cards will still be right here with me. // So... / ...don't worry." --> Adult|Sakura wouldn't have known about the cards and even less about their connection with the staff or its importance for Teenager|Sakura if it was just a chance random 2min. encounter with "another version of herself", about whom she shouldn't know so much.
We were told three million times that "Syaoran Li" was Clow Reed's blood related descendant, his magic circle, his sword, his beloved being 'Sakura' the star magic user, his cooking skills, even up to his serious behavior and fighting skills, everything screams CCS|Syaoran.
The one really worrisome thing is how Adult|Sakura reported the sentence "everything is going to alright" as something that was passed to her by someone else, while this line should really be her own too...that said, many years passed and from the moment she is a 10 years old kid and her being a mother, many things happened and she simply might have not used this line anymore when growing up...


Now, 'option number 2'.
There is a really 4th SxS couple and CCS|SxS really got pretty much nothing to do with neither TRC nor Holic.
Both the TRC|SxS (parents) and Clow Reed might be from an alternate dimension of CCS, in which pretty much everything would be quite identical, except some particular aspects here and there.
The line "This is a very precious thing to you, isn't it? Even without the staff, the cards will still be right here with me. // So... / ...don't worry." could be interpreted as CCS|Sakura telling her other self that she needs it more then herself, and that at this right moment, everything is perfectly alright with her life (CCS|Syaoran must have come back from Hong Kong) and that she can still stay together with her cards even without it. Then she wishes her other self to be as lucky as she is "I'm sure... // ...you will be all right, too!".
The problem with this is Clamp's objectives makes no sens: this is supposed to be a manga everyone could read, even people who has never heard about CCS. So making a plot that could only affect and be followed by CCS fans is incomprehensible to me. Furthermore, making a 4th SxS couple at this point is so absurd I can't even manage to laugh...and the only objective and message I see is to tell us "Nah! You were all wrong, CCS had nothing to do with all this Nyah!". So childish...

Anyway, no final conclusion can be drown from this chapter. We will need more details and conclusive proof to decide who is who in the next chapters~

Ah, This is confusing. Based on this chapter, I'm thinking that CCS Sakura is different from the Sakura that's R! Syaoran's parents. Some might disagree with me, but that's my opinon. I mean if Sakura Kinomoto did give the wand to her future self, then why did Lady Sakura, the phrase gave her inspiration. IF she was the original Sakura, Lady Sakura would've known her quote already.

But CLAMP is confusing, so I'm not making assumptions until TRC is officially done. ^.^ It'll be funny/mean if CLAMP posted a notice or chapter saying that CH. 217 was a April Fool's prank! XD I'm hoping CLAMP would end TRC with a decent ending. I won't mind if they have to take alot of breaks if it means the ending would be one that's fantastic and awesome.

Well, I don't see Mama!Sakura being CCS!Sakura right now... Maybe the "precious thing" CCS!Sakura was talking about was her son, "Syaoran", and so that's the reason she lend her the star wand.

And... hell, those early chapitres spoil my fun. It seems like I'm waiting WAY MORE TIME for the another chapitre. >_>
