Either way, this depresses me greatly. I had hoped Sakura would've grown up to be a strong magician - likewise with Syaoran. I am grateful however that Syaoran did end up being quite power in the concepts he taught to his son.

Syaoran and Sakura are totally and 100% couple with the most happiest, touching and adorable ending EVER [at least in CLAMP series-wise] when they have their final reunion... it may not show it out as "yeah, we are dating and holding hands and such" BUT the detail of their expressed feeling/emotion when they finally see each other after years-long of separation have spoken it all!!!! And also their FINAL hug There are NO DOUBT about the fact that they ARE couple at the end!!!!

Ah..Right...so you're assuming, it's all thanks to Butt Chin that Kimihiro is still alive till now? I see. If Butt Chin is actually a good person and harmless, he wouldn't have use that 'distortion" power which could possibly bring misery to Watanuki's future and Watanuki wouldn't be so vunerable to dissapearing would he?

That's it, I'm tired and fed up of thinking rationally and following up Clamp's hints, and always ending up having my emotions controlled by those evil women!!

I arbitrarily decide I don't want CCS|SxS to be dead, I don't care how they do it and how crazy an explanation they make up and how many plot holes they create, I-want-them-alive!
Considering this concept of 'duality' Clamp strongly introduced, it might be pretty possible actually, without making up anything too insane, really.

If not, I'm joining hands with chibi-chan and rioting their studio

I don't want to think that the CCS couple are dead either, it's just too cruel. Now I can't think of any couples that had a good ending...well maybe one...hmmm....

Anyways, Wata-kun not living coz of Butt Chin? Intresting theory and it does make sense a bit...I wonder what would happen if ChibiSyaoran didn't interfered with time?

I think he means that if Butt-Chin hadn't provoked Shaoran Jr. to make such wish, or rather caused a whole lot of shit before that, then Watanuki wouldn't have been born. He wasn't implying that he was nice, anyone who read TRC knows Butt-Chin is a right bastard for using everybody like that.

*sigh* I really try stop thinking about all of these mess... there are too many "what if" and too many "why"... and especially the question directing at CLAMP... "There will be like maybe 4 volumes left of TRC, and you ARE planning to turn this last 4 volumes that would override our love of TRC from the first 25 volumes Or are you planning to make us hold our breath or in disappointment till the VERY last volume and regain our faith back because of 'YEAH' turn of events??" All of these mess can really only turned in either a win-win [= There's a major reason why despite the whole taboo, existance of Watanuki, duality, bringing sacrifices, involve many innocent people and distorting the dimension; and yet Yuuko continue to hold faith onto THAT event and that the FUTURE hasn't decided yet!? Which is also a way for CLAMP in saying... the ENDING hasn't decided yet, "Everything will be alright" just as Yuuko never lost hope and encore with the invincible spell??] or a lose-lose [= well, I don't think I need to explain this part ^^;;] situation!?

But I mean how the heck would it be the "EVERYONE would have a happy ending !!! except 1 ", I am still going to hold on to the win-win situation *staying positive* The revelation of events has just been revealed, so we shouldn't put into our conclusion yet... there may be more to that story.... and hope that CLAMP wouldn't give me disappointment all the way till the last chapter

As for the whole "What if" thingy... Everything started from FWR, everything started BECAUSE of THAT person whom FWR wanted to revive, everything started from a planning that exist YEARS ago [before CCS|SxS are even born]... too many consequences have result since the beginning, middle and "almost" the end... it is not a matter of the result of 1 or 2 actions but a gathering of chain-reaction.

the only "what if" I really want is for "FWR to NOT exist since the beginning"
