Today was band solos. I hadbeen practising hard-out for these, yet due to a horribl;e twist of fate, I couldn't. I'm disappointed, but there is still some trophies I could win without playing. So I'll keep my hopes up.

lost long ago
taken without mercy
by a haunting shadow

the battle was over

I didn't get to do it because I got a very mean twist of fate.. but I still might have won one of the trophies where ytou don't have to play. Doubt it though.

And now yet another poem:

The creepy shadows rose the dead
a feirce wind blew off their heads

Leaves swirled around th lifeless trees
just like a swarm of bees

the air is feirce anbd swift
it may pierce your soul

make no sudden movements
do not move from here
do not move away
something evil is there

Today was hot. So hoty that I was told to go outside to cool off. I ran back inside to get out of the heat. But, I have been getting a lot of fanfic ideas. And It kind of scares me......

cold and alone
on a dark black night
nothing to feel
no one in sight

numb and weak
ion a dark creek
the moon has gone
from the place it once shone

the dim light of fire
makes you tire
climb from the water
cuts make you sore
take peace and refuge
from your internal war

sleep for a while
or just rest your eyes
the grass makes you smile
yet the world makes you cry

light has lost
recognition in your mind
for you have embraced
death of your own kind

your precious world
has been broken and torn
and it's repair
has left you no time to mourn

you have been made
brittle and fragile
and your kind is now
evil and vile

today, the heat wave ended. And in return we got heavy rain and thunder. No snow. Of course, it is spring so that would be kind of odd...... but once more, staying inside was needed. Not that I wold ever really complain!

the moonlight burned her soft blue eyes
as she gazed up at the starry sky
she reached out and grabbed
a falling snowflake
let it melt slowly
and let her heart break

she let out a frozen tear
and let out a whimper of despair
she shut the window
and turned around
crept into bed
lost and never found

she tossed and turned
trying to rest
and brought the rose petal
up to her chest
she curled her knees
and hugged them with her arm
trying to find
her forgotten calm
she simpley sought comfort]in a world she couldn't bear
and remembered joyfully
that death was near

lying on the brink of sorrow
she closed her eyes to tomorrow
and let her burning thoughts slip away
to the dream of yesterday

Yay! That is good that the heat wave is gone. I hate when it's hot. T_T.

Okay. Here' my lesson on poetry writing:

let your mind wander until a scene comes into your head

hold ontyo that scvene and draw it in words on the paper

write as the scene plays out in your mind (remembering the subtle things like rhyming)

as the scene comes to a close, finish it off with a scentence to wrap it up (normally dramatic, like: evil and vile)

and your done! Go over it with the finishing touches and you've got yourself a poem!!

this also works with short stories, or even long stories.

And that's my post for yesterday!! (You all shall recieve a poem or something later)

Thank you so much! If my teachers back in 7th grade explained it like that, I think I would have done a lot better in that class. Lol. I shall have to give that a try later.

Alright, I have been reading Twilight (and I'm nearly finished *sigh*) and I have decided to talk about it here.

Okay, I love Edward. He is like the high school american version of TRC Kamui. They both can change their eyes to gold, and both are genorous and kind (witth exceptions)

I love how they are so alike. It's just... brilliant. All Edward needs now is an actual twin brother. If Edward could be played by any CLAMo character, I say that he should be played by TRC Kamui.

I mean, what more do we need? We have three absoulutely drop dead gorgeous vampires, all who stray off that line of legend. And two of them are so alike it's not funny.

They are both scary at points, really fast, and strong. And the way that they can hardly get hurt....... In fact, sometimes I think that Kamui is going to pop up in Twwilight and say that he's Edward's... something.

He knelt beside his prey

he then felt a push against his back
and fell onto the deathly track

felt his body and the water crashing

he could no longer breathe that sweet crisp air
felt taht he could not move anywhere
as he succumbed to the death awakened
and realised that he was forsaken

I've really been wanting to read Twilight after hearing my friend Kellie talking about it a week or so when Dylan and I visited her. My cousin is also reading that book right now and she said that I could borrow it when she was done so I can't wait! xD

That is so cool how Edward is like Kamui.

Oh yes, yes, Twilight is VERY good! Over here in the U.S. the movie's going to coem out in two days and opening night si going to be CRAZY so I won't be able to go on that day...maybe this week when my sis comes back to college...but I'm not patient!

Okay, I have been slacking off, so here is my new entry!!

My medication has finished and I'm allowed chocolate, mint, and other things once again. So that means that I can have hot chcolates again. Yay! h, and mellowpuffs. Sweet, delicious mellowpuffs....

I also found out that my bioligy teacher likes Evanescennce, so I recommended Within Temptation to him. I wonder what he thought of the awesome band?

And now for my better part of my entry:
