Subaru or Kamui?

If you were to choose between Subaru or Kamui, who would you chose and why?

I like them both, but push comes to shove I chose Subaru. He's such a beautiful character who starts out utterly innocent and grows into an intense and somber man. Subaru's story drew me in the first time I read about him. He fell madly in love and it just broke him, not to say that Subaru was always on the side of sanity, but he was definitely driven further down the path. I guess what really fascinated me about Subaru is that he is love. All of his actions were driven by love, whether it's for good or for bad.

I think they arte both brilliant characters, but Subaru will always be the one that lioves the deepest in my heart.

Subaru is kind and modest, and even thoughh it may destroy hsi heart, he continues on as an onmyouji. He falls in love, and act which only brings him the worst possible pain. And I like how Subaru has been called a saint, a matyr, yet I think that he is truely just the purest angel on earth.

Subaru is very pure, but I don't think that he's a saint or anything. That seems to simplify him too much. Because Subaru is so pure I don't think that he's all that sane and he doesn't think like a normal person. He was about to let that woman stab him in volume 5 just so some of her pain can be relieved. A sane person, saint or otherwise, would not think in this manner. He went into a canatonic state after Seishirou broke his heart. This isn't what happens to a sane person when they have their heartbroken. Yeah sure Kamui went into the same state, but that was from all the trauma he endured (his mother, aunt and Kotori all died in rather brutal fashion) and let's face it, mentally and emotionally, Kamui's a lot stronger than Subaru.

I think Hokuto said it best that Subaru's too pure for this world. I definitely have to agree with her. But this is what makes Subaru the fascinating character that we all know and love.

Well anyways, I would choose Subaru. Now Subby-chan and Angel-chan just explained everything of why I chose Subaru. Kamui is indeed awesome, but whenever I read back into TB and X, I just get the most feelings from Subaru coz his charecter is co complex and his story is so heartbreaking. Both Subaru and Kamui went through similar situations, but I think Subaru has went through it harder in a more mentally way.

I'd choose Kamui, because he is so cool and strong. In X we acutally didn't get to see Subaru in action very much, but I am sure he is awsome too!

Subaru-kun for me! Subaru is so pure and handsome! He has a really sad past than Kamui, although, they both been suffered the same way but Subaru's story is touching me more.
