On to Districts!

Yatta! I'm going to represent my high school. I'm so happy. In the conferences I got 3rd in dicus, behind one of the girls from my school, with a 81'3 throw. That's a new personal record! Then I got 4th in shotput with a 29' throw.

Demo I have my work cut out for me. As my coach mapped in order to place in districts I have to have my shotput leap another 3 feet, though I believe I've already thrown a 30 foot. Then for discus it had to fly a whole 20 feet! This will be so hard but I won't give up and if I lose at I can say I did well for freshman year.

Competition

I'm throwing shot (apparently in the districtsacutally you only need two people for each event). Thing is, is that it's not my best or my favorite event. There are 22 girls. Among those girls I rank 15th. If I thorw a 30 with some feet I could jump 4-5 positions. If I have a miracle and throw a 31 I could another few positions, just enought o qualify for sectionals.

On one hand I want to show I am good that I'm not bad for my age and my experience but I also am so tired....I nap for an hour (my busride home) and sometimes I even sleep in class.

End of Track

I didn't get the placing to make it to sectionals. Those girls that did were beasts! They were throwing so far....but I did make finals and according to the other girls I did the best. I made a new personal best of 30' 2 and got eighth! The season's over for me but I'll just do better next year.
