What do you think is going to happen at the end of X?

We all know that X has been on hold for a while now, so I was wondering what everyone thought was going to happen!

I think that Subaru will die, because even though I'd want to ball my eyes out I would be glad that Subaru got to be reunited with his loved ones once again. I mean, he deserves a break from being the king of angst!!

I agree 100% but if Subaru were to die...I have a feeling he might kill himsel! And I also have a feeling Kamui's going to die too (hint, Fuma getting ready to stab Kamui on the latest chapter, the blood in the background. Fuma stabbed something!)

And I think CLAMP said that the ending for X would be too cruel to finish, they said something about it being extremly sad or tragic. Well the only tragic things I could think of is everyone dieing, the earth exploding, Kamui being the last survivor or Fuma or something else despressing.

Well earth definately won't explode because that would mean it took over nine years!!!!

No, Fuma had the sword directly at Kamui"s chest, then raised it up a bit and stabbed something considering there was a splatter of blood in the background. He stabbed either Kamui or Subaru since he was the closet to the two.

i recently re-read X, and there are quite some things that has to be finished. the whole theme in X is "wishes", and it's clear that Fuuma has a wish that only Kamui can make come true. and Fuuma also says that if Kamui doesn't realize his TRUE wish, then he can never win over Fuuma.

I think it's just as simple as Kamui actually wanting to kill Fuuma (or rahter, the other Kamui), and "Fuuma" wanting to get killed. it all points toward that.... but still, it's so very similar to sei-chan and subaru, so i don't know.

clamp said that the X manga will be 21 volumes in it's total. there's still 3 volumes to go, and lots of people to die. they also said that the end of the manga is different from both the movie and the anime. that means the manga WILL NOT end with kamui only being killed, or fuuma only being killed. which leaves that either both lives, which doesn't make sense with the publisher-thingie, or that both of them die. I am 99% sure that they both will die. Cause we've kinda seen Fuuma killing Kamui. And we've seen Kamui killing Hinoto (hinoto is so stupid, the reason why kamui will kill her is of course cause she gave up to her BAD other self who started lying >_>) and clamp likes all the dramatic stuff, so maybe when Kamui realizes his true wish, to kill Fuuma by his own hands, he like, attacks Fuuma, and makes it so that he himself also get stabbed. yay, the last chapter involves a picture of fuuma and kamui being stabbed by each other's Shinken :'D

and talking about the end, i hope clamp continues legal drug and X when tsubasa and holic is over. seriosuly. i really want to read the end now. it's so annoying! can't they publish them both with another company, like in Newtype, after kobato is finished??? >_< okay i guess that won't work cause of first time readers.... :\ argh ;_; i want to read the ending now. i want to have it in my bookshelf. have you noticed Fuuma's hair on the back of the volume 18? :D

actually i haven't read the whooole thing (manga books-wise, darn you library!), but i did check out only the very last page online.
what if (note i don't know what happened b/w volume 15-19) someone stabbed fuma?

did you notice what kamui says in the 1rst page of the 1rst vol? That he wants to kill "that" person- who the hell is he referring to? Could it be his father? We really don't know anything about him... The reason I'm mentioning this is that it may be related somehow to the end of x. Any ideas?
