Horitsuba Gakuen

"K-kidnapped? Who would want to do that?" I looked at the tiger. "Wow... it can talk. I'm not going crazy right? It talked?"

A screeching sound echoed through the infirmory. Tsunade bolted. "What is it Tsunade-san?" asked one of her assistances.
"It's Shikatsu-chan!" She called back. Cain and the twins heard the comotion and started to follow.
"No! Everyone stay here! I'll handle it!" She yelled.

Hearing Shika-chan's scream sent chills up my spine. I wanted to get closer, but chose against doing such an action since Tsunade was in there with Shika-chan.

Tsunade gazed upon the empty bed and quickly silenced the screaming machine.
"She pulled out the IV and disconnected all the wires." she whispered to herself. Then turned around "Are you alright?"
I gazed at her with a blank expression, completely dazed and didn't speak a word almost as if I didn't know how to speak anymore.
"Well..?" She pressed.
"I... don't ..know..." I answered. I wavered a little and she came over and guided me to where my roomates waited.
"Shika-san you're all right!" Everyone shouted.
"She just disconnected herself." Tsunade sighed with relief.
I stared at the sight around me as if it was so foreign to me and said nothing.

I stayed in the back to make sure she wouldn't notice me right away. I was glad that now everyone was alright. Finally I decided it would be time for me to get back to my dorm and hope that none of my dormmates would see me.

I shivered as I heard that frightful scream. I wasn't sure what to do... so I just stood there... trying to understand everything that was going on.

The twins rushed up to hug me but I quickly dodged them almost losing my balance leaning inconspicuously aginst the wall for support.
"Hmm you're a quick one."
"We're all glad you're alive." Cain announced.
I frowned and scanned the room.

Just as I was about to leave, I felt someone tugging on my tail and I let out a loud hiss. "Who the hell did that!?" I said fiercely.

"I-I'm sorry... I did... I was worried that if you left you would get hurt..." I told her as I let go of her tail. I was about to open my mouth to sayd something else but Sorata ran in and hugged me.

"There you are! Why did you sneak out like that? We we were so worried about you!" He said, worried.

I pushed him away gently. I know he was trying to be nice and all.. but I was claustrophobic... "I'm sorry.. I was curious as to what was going on... and... I wanted to help anyone who needed help, you know?"

"You should have remained in your room." Kurogane-sensei said as he entered the room. "Does anyone know what the hell is going on here?"

"Yuki-chan was almost kidnapped... and then there was a scream... that is all I know."

Kurogane nodded as if he was processing the information in his brain and trying to come up with the best solution for what was going on.

I sighed, seriously unsure of what the heck was going on.

I went under one of the medical beds to prevent being seen by Kurogane-sensei from seeing me. I watched while everyone was talking and walking about.

Kurogane ignored the tiger that hid.

Kyoki smiled. "I'm so tired... but this is really kinda exciting and scary at the same time."

"Yea... it really is." Sorata agreed.

"Tiger-chan... are you ok?" I asked as I went over to her, thinking that maybe she was feeling ill or something...

"Everyone's okay," I rest my hand on my heart. "Thank goodness."

I quickly started to dash toward the door, down the stairs, but then I bumped into Fai-sensei. 'Oh no...' I thought. I cowered in the corner when he turned and looked at me.

Fai pet the tiger "Hello there! Are you still in the reverting stage?"

He was a magician that taught chemistry. Fai-sensei must've known stuff. "I heard some noise from one of the rooms in my dorm?"

"Fai-sensei!" I called

Completely dumbstruck all I could manage to say was "How...how did you...How do you know?" Hearing footsteps that belonged to Kyoki-chan, I did a slight bow and continued down the steps.

"Tiger-chan... wait for me!" I said as I rushed after the cute tiger. "Where are we going?" I don't know why I was talking to the tiger like that... but it seemed to understand me, and I wasn't complaining.

I continued to run across the campus to find a safe place, a place away from prying eyes so I could finish my transformation back to my human form.

"Saiku-chan!" I called as I dashed through the door.

When I stopped running I found myself deep in the woods behind the dorms. I suddenly felt dizzy, unable to focus. I tried to continue further in, but I became unable to move. As I slipped into unconsciousness, I heard Yuki-chan's and Kyoki-chan's voices.

I ran while following the lost tiger... and then ran right into a tree... and fell on my back. I moaned as pain shot through my body. I laid there for a few moments before getting back up and walking again. But then I tripped over something on the ground and landed face first on the ground. I decided that I should give up trying to run in the dark, so I laid there for a few moments.

Still unconscious, I heard the faint sound of someone falling. Not once, but twice and I felt, I think, someone tripping over my leg.

As I laid there, I realized that the thing I had tripped over had felt like a leg. I sat up and poked what had tripped me. I quickly pulled my hand back when I felt that it was warm. But it would have been a rabbit for all I knew... So I reached forward and poked again.

It felt like skin, human skin. I gasp and began to shake the person. "Hello? Are you all right? Please don't be dead... this would so not look good if you were dead..."

I groaned slightly, but I couldn't get myself awake. I felt as the person checked to make sure I was alive. I shift a bit, but that was all I could manage.

"Kyoki-chan!" I followed, calling for my friends "Saiku-chan!"

"Hiyuyuki-chan? I'm over here..." I called out to her as I continued to shake.
