Horitsuba Gakuen

"Your both are intellegent, both like having fun, and both think more strategically than the average person. I mean come on. Its like you two were meant meet." I said gently jabbing him in the side.

"Urusai" I retorted as we reached of rooms. "Oyasumi."

I shrugged again and went to bed.

It had been months since I've been attending Horitsuba. Nothing much has been happening until. I read a poster "Masqurade Dance?"

I was to meet up with Yuki-chan at lunch hour when I noticed the poster for a Masqurad Dance. 'Hmm...that might be interesting.' I thought as I continued to the cafeteria. I saw Yuki-chan. "Hiya Yuki-chan. How is your day so far?" I inquired.

"Fine" I replied "Did you see the poster?"

"Yeah. It looks like it will be fun. Though when I think about it, my features would be hard to mask. I might as well go maskless." I laughed.

"I just might not go" I replied.

"Aww...not even with Lelouch?" I suggested. "I might ask Suzaku to accompany me."

Me, who was leaning in the chair, was suprised by the statement. I actually fell back. I moaned "Itai....klutzness is a cruel thing....As for Lelouch, I wouldn't know. I mean seriously me? Dancing? that' sa recipe for disaster!"

"I'm sure he would look after you. He seems like the type that would. As for me, I've never been the one for dancing either but it seems like a fun event." I said pondering the fact of me and Suzaku dancing together.

"Not, going" I decided "I don't want to go."

"Aww...come on please??" I said hopefully. "Please...it will be fun."

"i don't even have clothes for it" I tried to think of an excuse.

"There is a formal clothing store on campus." I managed to stop one excuse.

"Homework to do" I tried agian

"For this term I have almost all the same classes as you and in all but one we didn't have homework." striking down another excuse.

"So What's up?" Cain questioned.
"I wasn't aware of anything." I said looking up.
He just laughed, that seemed like the only thing I was good for. There was a loud rumble sound.
"Hungry? When's the last time you eaten something?"
"Uh... rice cakes...?"
"But that was the first day, how are you..." He sighed "You truly are amazing instead of disappearing at this time why don't you come eat something.." He said leading the way.
We sat at a table outside and I stared off into space, it wasn't long til the twins joined us.

Fay-chan was just skipped some months. Did you pay attention?

Crap she wasn't making it easy. I shrugged it off and decided it was time to tell her. I came up with the best excuse I could "I have no one to go with. Lelouch is going with his girlfriend, C.C.. I introduced them to each other and did a bit of matchmaking."

(How should i no i read it but i didnt see any thing about months sheesh y do u guys have such big time jumps)



I stared at the sky and ate quietly while the others chatted about things I didn't heard or understand.

You really don't pay attention if you missed mine with the first sentence "It had been months since I've been attending Horitsuba." Why big time jumps? It gets us to different classes and different events, like I don't know....Christmas?

I leaned in my chair again. It was obvious I don't learn after the first time hitting my head.

I finished quickly and walked away hoping they wouldn't notice me.
"Where to Shika-san?" Hikaru called.
"I don't know." I replied without turniing. 'Where ever the wind takes me.' I thought.

Social events. I wasn't good at going to 'em. Even as a clan's heir. I'm the quiet one you hardly see or is fairly awkward when you do see me. Shouldn't I save myself the embarassment?

As I walked I saw Yuki-chan as I aproached I wondered if I should stay invisible or say something.

I noticed Shika-chan. I waved "Konichi wa Shika-chan!"
