Its Name:Tsubasa's OAD will be called ツバサ春雷記 (Tsubasa Shunraiki), which can be translated as Tsubasa - Spring Thunder Chronicles.

Everyone thought it is going to be Nihon because it is crossover with xxxhoic But we don't know until now which arc,I hope it will going to be Infinty not Nihon

Well I don't know about the tittle but I heard there's going to be some OVAs on the Infinity arch coming up in Febuary.

It Will Be in March And xxxholic on 18 feb.

I thought they came around the same date? It was around Feburay I presumed.

I was told that it was in Feb for both. Maybe there is going to be two arcs? Or maybe three?

Actually, I heard there are going to be two arcs. One is xxxHolic which is will be released in February and TRC OAD will be released around March. It's gonna be really interesting since we have OADs for the both Holic and Tsubasa.

Oky, thats odd. My sources about the Tsubasa OAD were wrong. It was the Holic amv. But I'm like Hokuto-cahn. I thought they were coming out on the same date?

I'm not so sure if they are both coming out exactly on the same date. Have to ask Miko about it. But from what I heard, xxxHolic is likely to be released around February, I'm not sure about the exact date for Tsubasa, but I heard a few rumours it will be released around March.

Hi guys! I found the latest news about Tsubasa OAD on ChibiYuuto's LJ

Here is what he said about the news on Tsubasa OAD:

Yui Makino, Sakura's seiyuu in Tsubasa, posted an entry in her official blog stating that a press conference was recently held at Kodansha to promote the OADs release.

In that entry, she revealed that Tsubasa's OAD will be called ツバサ春雷記 (Tsubasa Shunraiki), which can be translated as Tsubasa - Spring Thunder Chronicles. I should credit my friend Sakura-chan for translating the title.

With that sort of title, it's hard to predict what is going to be about (which arc of the manga, I mean). I wonder also if that's the full title or just a short version.

There's a small picture of the Tsubasa cast along with producer Rui Kuroki.

We should expect some features in magazines about the OADs anytime soon, now that an official press conference has been held.

I have a feeling it's probably the Nihon Arc or it might be crossing with Holic considering that both these series are coming to and end. I'm so exicted! I really can't wait to see the OADs.

Cool, thanks for the info, Chibi-chan! But I was pretty sure it was the Infinity arch...would it make sense if it was coz it woulen't if we skip inifinity, celes and right over to nihon.

Clamp hasn't revealed anything about TRC OADs so I don't really know what they've got install for us. I'm praying it will turn out to be Infinity arch cos I wanna see other characters in this as well like, Lantis and Eagle from the Magic Knight Rayearth series.

It should be the inifintiy arch coz for those who just watch the anime will be all O.O if it's the Nihon arc. And they'll be all "What happened!?" and "Did Kuro-puu lost an arm?" and "Did Sakura died!?"

Yeah...so I think it'll be the inifnity arc.

It should be infinity because we learn about Ashura waking up, the first curse, Sakura gettting stabbed which is referenced in the next three arcs so it should be infinity.

Well I've been reading Tsubasa Chronicles since almost 5 years ago... so I can wait some months to see more Sakura and Syaoran :D

I saw this news few days ago in chibiyuuto's LJ...and indeed, the title of the TRC OVA is not too revealing ^^;

But considering that both series are coming to an end in the next couple of months, and that those OVA are supposed to show an arc which got BOTH series very related/close to each other, I can only think it will very likely be The End of both series or, at least, what we've been seeing lately in the latest chapters, about Syao/Wata bond blablabla...

Anyway, it's plain impossible to animate the infinity arc in 2 OVAs and there is no relation between Holic and Infinity either. So this is a no go.
Same for Nihon: the content is too heavy to be animated in 2 OVAs, even though in this case there is, indeed, a connection with XXXHolic since Syaoran and Watanuki meets each other inside a Dream.
By elimination and logic: it will be an original anime ending for both series, based on the manga of course. I think the apparition of a young CCS|Sakura in the previous OVA already prepared us to an original end: at that time, they strayed out of the manga plot already, even if by only little and will very likely continue.

Finally, those OVA are not being shown on TV: to start with, the people who buy those are the ones who read the manga and know of what's going on. So it's no big deal to 'jump' past several arcs in the manga.

Thunder: for whatever reason, it makes me think of 'Syaoran' and his thunder attacks ^^ or will those be 'thunderous' OVA/revelations ? :P

lol!XD that makes sense! I just wish Clamp would tell us a little bit more about the story! Pehaps, the story might be similar to Tokyo Revelations I suppose.

That makes sense. I mean, who actually says that they are even going to follow the manga? I mean, the animation didn't at the end. Of course I woldn't have liked to be them when CLAMP found out but isn't that what animes are doing now days?

Yeah,Anyway we hope,it will going to be perfect OVAs,Even it is Nihon or Infinty or Clow,We who read the manga know what's going in story,i wish it will be goinng to be so perfect,if they jumped to Nihon,Everyone will be okay(I think)It is hard to make Kurogane lose arm and suddenly at Begining of Ova,you se him wake up,Like What's Happening? If it is Nihon,Infinty is more fit to do Because it is kind Hard to jump to Nihon or Clow suddenly and change a lot of things,right?I think Clamp can't make Celes Arc But it is the most important Arc,it tells everything in story and it is connection to Clow country,Xxxholic is crossover with Tsubasa is the dream world.
