does watanuki still go to school? (I believe i remember reading that he has spent far less time at school then before he entered yuukos shop) I mean, isn't it possible to make more ties with people if there are more people around to make ties with? and if watanuki doesn't dissapear (and hasn't been going to school) how will he be able to support himself after all of this is done? (of course, he could probably be a really succesful chef, so the point may be moot)

if the woman finds everything disgusting, she can't trade anything to yuuko because she wouldn't believe that anything in her possession is really that valuable to trade, so there really isn't any direct help from yuuko available

though I think, wether or not the woman survives (do we know her name?) I think it'll be beneficial for watanuki, if she overcomes her problem it will give watanuki the hope that it can be done for him as well... and if she doesn't, in typical watanuki style it'll give him the drive to keep trying

and watanuki's going to need everything he can get once he regains his memories (which I think he will)

I just wanted to clear something up here:

Remember during the spider arc of 'Holic when Watanuki made the wish to change the victim of the spider's wrath from Doumeki to him. When Doumeki spoke to Yuuko to try to get Watanuki's eye back, Yuuko refused, saying that between two confounding issues, her policy was basically "first come, first served".

Because of this, and because the wish to send the group in TRC to "the place where Sakura is" has already been fulfilled in lue of the price of Watanuki's memories, I don't think he will be able to regain them. It's not as if Yuuko can possibly have a return policy. "All transactions are final."

If you can think of any evidence to support the other side, I'd love to hear it. ;)

perhaps a wish that supercedes the other? like if one of the characters wished for say mokona's earing? if the earing is broken than maybe the memories would be released, after all, I'm not sure what good the memories of watanuki's past and sakura's memories of syaoran would do to anyone who isn't their owners... yeah... Well,as StrugglingAlibi said, I believe once the payment is being paid, it couldn't be return. The only thing we can only rely on currently for Watanuki is his "body memories"... just like with Clone|Syaoran, after his half heart was returned to R|Syaoran, he has NO MEMORIES what-so-ever about his encounter and his previous experience for the past 7 years but only programmed as a "killing machine" [I mean he was even stabbing Sakura mercilessly on her shoulder]. The only time he "seems" to be normal is how strongly his body WAS reacting due to his body memories!!

Um... (A) I know this is only me being picky, but technically speaking the card "time" only existed in anime NOT manga (B) the effect of time really "repeat the same day" over and over... in a sense it is REVERSE, but other than Syaoran and Sakura is aware of things due to "magical sense"... there's really nothing changed.

However, what "Syaoran" was doing IS to reverse time for the past 7 years. Especially the fact that he reversed it to the way that would AVOID a major event being happened... in which, we can look at it as a "butterfly effect". There's a different between "reversing and repeating the same event over again" and "reversing and proceed to change history"!!

The effect of time reverse from "Syaoran", it has forcefully created another existance, Watanuki and many other chain-reaction followed thereafter [especially with FWR's action with killing Kurogane's mom, clone syaoran, Fai/Yuui etc.] and people who was involved/knew about this major event [Sakura has the death of seal] were forcefully changed their life too [something happen to Fujitaka-ou].

This chapter is really short. So the lady client has a very complicated case indeed! She can cook exactly like a pro and any recipe for that matter but she doesn’t want to eat what she cooked? and found everything is disgusting? Maybe she isn't a human.

Watanuki should offer the woman a counselling therapy. She probably has an issue with her self-esteem.

The woman seems a bit awkward in everything she says. There must be a reasonable justification to why she's behaving that way.

When I read the chapter, the first thought that came to mind to justify her situation was the possibility of an arranged marriage. Any thoughts?

Hopefully Watanuki learns a good lesson from her, in any case. ^^

Maybe she is a spirit who lost her memory.. and she's disgusted with everything because she has a superiority complex which subconciously manifests as being disgusted by all things material she comes into contact with

It could be Arrange marriage like what StrugglingAlibi said...but that women just freaks me out...she is still so cheerful when she is talking about stuff like that...

I think too this woman is creepy. I don't thing it's something about self-esteem. She smiles all the time. I can't stand it when she talks about herself as a disgusting person and acts like it's alright. And she doen't want to know anything? Wow, I think that with her way of thinking, her life seems pointless. But I'm happy Watanuki tries to help her.
