"I guess I'm not the only one with an awkward day" I commented as I put the pendant back around her neck.

Even though the pendant was back on I didn't transform back right away. "Great..." Suddenly hearing my voice coming from my tiger form scared even myself. "Wow I guess this pendant acts as a communicator. I will have to really thank him for this when I get to the club meet time."

"I guess so." I replied "but you do know that most students wouldn't be freaked out by this. I mean there are other 'creatures' out there"

I nodded and said, "While that may be true...I would prefer it if very few people know...I don't want to have to run again. I'm tired of running. I don't want to be hunted...and I can't use my magic because the ones that hunt me have magic immune armor." I looked up at her.

"Anyway..." I started with a small scratch for my neck, "I have a feeling that something happened to Shika-chan. I felt some kind of small energy right before I got up from my VERY short nap."

"I believe anything's possible" I thoguht aloud. "As for your situation...I would use a spell but the ingredients take forever to get even for my clan"

"What ingredients?" I inquired. "Maybe I could help."

I scratched my head "Ehehe...the thing is I don't remember all the ingredients and I accidentally left the book on my bed in rhe compound. Gomen ne..."

"Ehh...I have to move around or I'll go nuts. I hate just standing in one place. Grab a hold at the base of my neck...near my back." I said with a sly tiger smile.

"Is it really neccessary?" I was dubious of riding because simple fact I've never done it before. "I could just call home and have it mailed here."

"Are you worried that much?" I asked still with my tiger smile.

"I'm not worried just don't think you should trouble yourself." I answered.

"At least it will keep me moving. Plus...I felt the energy leave the campus once I was out of my dorm. SOO we might find it again if we leave for a small bit." I bumped into her cause her to go up in the. Her only reaction was to grab hold of me and we took off like the wind itself.

Okay truth be told I'm terrified of riding on animals! Even if it is my friend I still have that fear! Once you ride on a horse that almost trampled you, you'd say the same thing. I was clinging for dear life.

"Relax. Your tense is causing my fur to stand on end. I promise I won't let anything bad happen to you." I called out to her while we were running. "You have to give me some direction. I'm currently just running for running's sake. Tell me which way to go to get that book of yours."

"Ok..." I eased slightly. "You would turn left and keep going until you see a bunch of traditional houses"

For Yuki-chan's sake I took it easy on my turn. About an hour later some houses were coming into view. "Is this the area?" I asked just before we got to the houses.

"Yeah" I told her. "The main comound is the largest one."

"Figures it would be in the center." Just before coming to the door I slowed to a stop and seeing guards made me cautious but not enough to make me leave Yuki-chan's side.

"Shizuka-sama" The guards chorused.

I rolled my eyes. That really did get annoying. "Stand down. I'm only here coz I forgot something."

The guards looked worried about Saiku-chan. I assured "She's with me." I entered the house and rushind in my room to get the book. I came back out "I got it! Let's go!"

Feeling her grab hold gave me the signal I need to start running again. When we were a few miles away, I felt a small twinge of energy much like the one I felt earlier. I came to a slow stop. "Please say its not just me feeling this..." The fur around the base of my neck started to stand straight up.

"Sorry I don't sense the same as you" I apologized "I sense various magic not energy"

"Hmm...put one of your hands on top of my head...remember how I could at least sense what others are thinking? Well it can work in the opposite way when I'm in my tiger form. You will be able to sense how I sense so long as your hand is on top of my head." I started to do a slow trot toward the energy. 'Its moving quickly. I don't want to get too close to it yet' I thought to myself right before she placed her hand on top of my head.

"Wow that's a great ability" I mused "but I can feel them now. It does seem weird. Luckily I brought my ofuda!"

"Good. Have your ofuda take to the sides. You and I are going to head straight toward it. If it moves away from me then your ofuda will let us know. Ready?" I asked with my tiger smile.

"One second" I threw out 8 ofuda that transformed into birds "Okay now I'm ready"
