Horitsuba Gakuen

I yawned sleepily, stretched, and follwed.

I lead her to a cave that was just big enough for both of us. "I found this when I first got to the campus. I needed to stake out a spot should I end up in this form. You can use it whenever you feel the need to. Ok?" I said.

I nodded. "I can't stay in this form what if they come here i'll put everyone in danger i can't risk that... but I can't keep running everyone will just keep looking for me and if they dont find me they'll be sad." I thought. Then I whined helplessly.

Sensing her torn thoughts I said, "Listen. There are very capable people here. Learn to trust them. Let them be your friends. With us at your side, whatever it is that your worried about will have a hard time getting to you." I smiled at the suprised look that appeared on her furry face.

I was going to be the last in the shower. All the guys were there before me. In the mean time I wrote in my e-journal.

"Hiruyuki-san" Subaru said.

I sighed "Look we are dormmates but I'm just as old if not younger than you. I don't need to be addressed so highly."

"Sumimasen" Subaru apologized. "For this morning. I forgot you were the only female in the room."

I waved it off "It's mewho should be apologize. I forget guys are my roommates. Plus I was rushing so I don't hear anything else."

"ACHOO!" I sneezed.

"Hiruyuki...-chan" Subaru said. "Have you been in the rain without an umbrella?"

I nodded and shrugged "It's no big deal! I get sick almost every month!"

I smiled and gave her an akward bark thank you. She was right but everyone can't fight my battles for me I'll do what ever it takes even put my life on the line. After all it was my fault I ran away I wanted to be free and putting people in danger to do it was not on my list I'll learn to give it all I've got.

"Well I'm going to check in with Yuki-chan...you can come if you want. Its up to you. Yuki-chan kind of blew my cover to her dormmates." I went out of the cave and toward Yuki-chan's dorm.

I came out the bathrrom in my pajamas. Naruto was sprawled out on his bed, asleep. Subaru lie peacefully in his bed and then there was Kamui. He was on the top bunk, awake, looking at the ceiling.

For some reason talking to him intimidated me slightly "K-Kamui-kun?" I asked as I settled into my bed.

"what?" he retorted.

"Well...." I was going to choke later for this but I said "Gomen nasai."

He didn't even lookat me as he replied "Already over it."

I rolled my eyes as I put my iPod on just to listen to something other than silence.

I followed quietly not wanting to be alone in this form.

"Oh Kamui-kun?" I remembered.

"What now?" boy he was rude!

I ignored "I take a class with a teacher that knows your brother. He said...'I hope to see him soon."

That caught broke his stoic expression. "What was his name?!"

"eh? Seishiro-sensei." I replied.

"And you told him where we were?!"

"Not really" I told him "He asked if I was in the same room as Subaru I just said 'If he is?'"

Kamui seemed to relax just a bit. Kami he was an odd one!

I did a quiet scratch at Yuki-chan's dorm. With Shika-chan with me we made sure to stay in the shadow.

I mirrored her movements and kept silent.

I heard a noise at the door. I went to answer.

When I saw the door open, I quietly said, "Hi Yuki-chan. Glad to see you made it safely back to your dorm. Are we allowed in or do you think it would cause too much of a problem?"

"Everyone's asleep beside the stoic king" I replied. "I don't think he'll mind. Not that I care." I held the door open for them to come in.

As we entered I first sound I heard was Naruto's snoring. "Man he sleeps like a rolling rock." I said as I went up on the couch.

As I walked in I twitched my tail nervously and looked up at Kamui-kun wondering why he was the only negative energy in the room.

"A he's supposed to be a ninja!" I said.

Kamui scowled. I returned it "Cool it Sunshine. You're making my friend uncomfortable."

"They're-"

"My friends. Unlike you I have a social life." I interrupted.

He glared at me again for getting in his bed

"We need to come up with some kind of plan for tomorrow. So long as Shika-chan is in her fox form, I can't leave my tiger form." I said staring at Kamui-kun.

"The supplies I need for the spell won't arrive until tomorrow" I informed. "We could always get Tsunade-san to make an excuse for you two."

I looked at the floor and whined apologetically feeling bad for causing trouble.

"You're not causing trouble if that's what you're thinking. Actually school has been a lot more exciting to me!" I mused.

I looked at Shika-chan and said, "Its not a problem. And getting the excuse from Tsunade-sama will be a good idea. I would feel bad if I would have to leave Shika-chan in an animal form by herself." I smiled at both of them.

I twitched my tail happily and let out a quiet high-pitched bark.

"Did you want to crash in here?" I queried.
