Horitsuba Gakuen

"What for?" I asked going along with the subject change knowing this couldn't be avoided for long.

"There is going to a Masquerade Dance. I managed to talk Yuki-chan to go. Would you like to come with us too Shika-chan?" I asked

"I have no clue what that is but whatever." I said.

"We'll teach you about it when we go to pick out a dress for it ok?" I said smiling.

"I don't know about buying dresses so we'll just have to find a store after classes...Oh wait" I thought about it "I have archery today."

"I have Science Club today as well...hmmm...how about around 4:30 we will meet up at the courtyard. Sound good?" I asked

"Wait dresses?!" What had I gotten myself into, on come the misery.

"Yeah dresses...anyway I have to go...Science Club is about to start and today we are doing stuff with liquid nitrogen." I said as I rushed off.

I headed for gym.
"This time we are playing tennis. I'll be a relief from playing dodgeball all this time. Guys are such sore losers." Youroichi announced.
My opponent was Renji, he hit the ball to me and I caught it then chucked it at him. It hit him in the stomach and knocked the wind out of him. "What the hell are you doing?!" He yelled. "If that was any lower I would be a goner." He whispered.
Someone apoached me from behind I tensed.
"That's not how you play tennis." He said and placed a racket in my hand. "You hit the ball with this not to hard just enough to get it to your opponents side and if they miss you get the point."
I flinched when his hand touched mine. "I see." I replied, as he walked away I shuddered. He watched the whole time he wasn't playing.
I was up against alot of people and won finally my last opponent was him the same one who had helped me.
I managed to win by five points and everyone cheered.
"You do well for someone who is only told once what to do." He commented. "And I don't believe we have formally met. I'm Byakuya Kuchiki."
"Shikatsu Kisaru." I replied.
"Nice to meet you." He said nodding and walked away.

I finally arrived at the Science room. "Hello Fai-sensei I hope I'm not late." I said with a smile as I took my place with the twins.

"Hey Shikatsu-chan you should play on the school's sports teams from what I hear you are one of Kikyo-sensei's best archers. You're really great that keeps the girls in the lead by ironically 5 wins. Heh the guys aren't doin' too hot now, this year will be a turn-around for the girls."
I didn't grasp much of what she said but just nodded and pretended to.



"What's up Saikua-chan?" The twins said.

I sat down in my chair. "I'm doing good. How about you guys? Anything interesting happen?" I inquired.

"Not really Shika-san is as innocent as usual." Hikaru said smiling.
"Have you ever noticed that she never smiles... It's only just occured to me." Kaoru added.



I had quite a bit of time so changed form and wondered around staying hidden.

"I've seen her smile...at least once...but that was some months back. I have an idea why don't one of you ask her to the Masquerade Dance? Yuki-chan, Shika-chan, and I are planning to go get our dresses today after clubs are over." I said as I put a drop of liquid nitrogen on the contact paper.

"I think it would be best if we didn't confine her to one person." Hikaru sighed.
"Right, others have taken a liking to her but who can blame them she's quite astonishing and doesn't know too much but that's what makes her so cute and innocent." Kaoru inquired.

"Thats true...but I think her going with someone like one of her dormmates might do her some good. To sure that she wouldn't feel uncomfortable like she would be if she went with someone she hardly knew anything about." I countered. The contact paper did a small explosion and a piece of the utensil I was working with flew right toward Fai-sensei. "Sensei!"

"True but if we do that we may create rivalry though it would be fun it's best to not put her in that position especially when she understands so little. We want her to still have the chance to refus." They persisted.

"Well Yuki-chan is open still as far as I know. One of you might try asking her...that one one would be with Yuki-chan and one can be with Shika-chan. I'm going to see Suzaku is free for the dance. Please can you at least take this into consideration?" I double persisted.

"But it seems LeLouch has taken a liking to her as well." They said innocently.

"That may be true, however, I also hear that he is taking C.C to the dance." I also said innocently

"We should stop talking now and pay attention, gossip isn't good." They closed.

I reverted back and climbed a tree near campus where the wind blew the strongest.

I frowned on how quickly they ended the conversation. So I placed another drop of liquid nitrogen on contact paper, secretly placed it really close to the twins, and with a small *BOOM* I looked over and saw black on Kaoru's face and couldn't help but laugh.

The twins smiled at each other then blew the smokey substance on Saikua.

After cleaning up our explosive mess, we washed up and started to head out. "I'll see you guys later...and please try to consider my idea." I said as I rushed toward the courtyard.

I was already waiting in the courtyard when I saw Saikua coming I gave a slight wave so she'd see me.
