*cough* Mokona was certainly saying "THE same appearance and form" at this moment... especially they are showing up as the SAME outlook and even wearing the EXACT outfit as the TRC|Sakura and TRC|Syaoran >___>
I don't think Mokona is referring to general outlook before they showed up [many fans have been saying; stuffs like: "[i]father and son looking exactly the same is ok, it's no big deal]... As I said, we have NEVER seen the "real" adult/teen father look, we can't pass it off as they look EXACTLY the same just because the "teen" Syaoran look has very similar look from what we know of Syaoran.
I admit it is not normal currently and certainly need a reason of WHY after they rewind time, they need to take the form and appearance of what THEY (TRC|Syaoran and TRC|Sakura) were wearing and look alike during the time freeze moment back then.
BUT before that, I still wouldn't pass as "abnormal" for the whole "father and son looking exactly the same is ok".

Well, I guess this is one of the rare points in which we don't agree at all ^^;
From start to end, I don't find it natural for the son and the father to be a copy of one another, and both Watanuki in chapter 177 and Mokona in this chapter 218 manifested their surprise at the sight of those 2 identical SxS couples, and it's not only the clothes -___-
I know that some people used the example of Doumeki and his grand-father, but, still, you can distinguish them easily, their facial expressions and haircut differs enough not to make them identical clones of one another like the 2 father/son 'Syaoran'.
Furthermore, the whole 'the grand father and the grand son looks identical' thing is used a lot in mangas/anime, for years, and even like that they still don't make them as copies of the other. But you will have to look *real* hard to find a parent and a child indistinguishable from one another...none come to mind in my case.

What I was trying to say is NOT just the clothes ^^;;
(A) for the Doumeki(s) case, we can distinguish them easily with like you said the "facial expression and haircut" because we have seen both Doumeki(s); HOWEVER, as I said before, we have NEVER seen the "real" Syaoran|papa face... which mean we CAN'T compare them. There may be slight differences between them that we don't know [and obviously CCS drawing style is different than TRC that we can't have too much of a close comparison of it either ^^;;;].

(B) After they "rewind time", they take in the form NOT just the clothes but possibility even the same outlook as TRC|Syaoran and TRC|Sakura "somehow" and for whatever reason >___> we can't use their current form right now to compare the differences between son|Syaoran and papa|Syaoran!?
Okay... I admit we have seen mama|Sakura's "real" appearance in the last chapter ^^;; but mama|Sakura and TRC|Sakura is the different circumstances -____-

Thanks for the chapitre! I wasn't at home at the time, so I really couldn't make it. XD;

Anyway, a shame Fay, Kurogane and Mokona aren't getting too much action/attention lately... And I wonder if these Papa!Syaoran and Mama!Sakura are beings that can live only inside a dream (AKA they are dead). So many questions...

That's maybe one of the tube functions, just like Fuuma's feather (AKA power under the ruins) protected the magical power without everyone couldn't feel it.

But all in all what's interesting is Fay saying that he could feel their powers O___O I got surprised once again by Fay's power!

Yeah, Fay is really, really powerful... even before he got back his new overpowered eye. o_x Anyway, the theory of "the tube" and the recipient in Tokyo being made from the same material makes lots of sense...

However, it makes me wonder how Fei Wang knew that there was a feather down below in the water... Well, it was inside that very recipient. Maybe it powers became so great that it could be easily perceived? I wonder if this power is bigger than Mama!Sakura's and Papa!Syaoran's together.

(Ah, yeah, Seishirou-san, seems so. XD)

About how FWR knew about the power under the ruins is waaaay to strange indeed! As far as we know, only FEi wang, Clow and Yuuko know about them and I don't think that its power became so great that could be easily percieved.. that way a lot of greed magicians guys from other dimensions would try to get it too.

About the tube and that recipient being made from the same thing is indeed valid and it makes me think why FWR mirror and FWR tube (where little Syaoran was beeing kept) has the same symbol as the tube, maybe all these stuff are made of the same thing?

Great, FWR barges in with a full out attack. :/ So, Mommy and Daddy are attempting to "restore" everything using memories? Who's memories are they, I ponder? Clone Sakura's lost memories, perhaps. Maybe even Yuuko's. Speaking of Yuuko, where did she head off too? Is that why they were paid as a price? Of course, Clone Sakura's memories do not go through the entire adventure ...

Mokona asked a very decent question; one in which we've all been wondering. X__x At least CLAMP is acknowledging it! Clothing has a symbolic effect. Perhaps it serves as a symbolic representation of the two. Or, Sakura's soul is what wears that lovely white dress - so that's her "soul clothing", I suppose. Father Syaoran maybe thought he needed decent clothing to "blend in" if he ever had to appear in Clow? I bet the answer is far more complex, but irregardless.

Perhaps in order to not be detected by people who possess an incredible amount of magical energy, Papa Syaoran and Mother Sakura had to revert back to their teenage selves. Although, that doesn't make sense, either - because obviously if they desire restoring everything that was; they'd need their adult power.

I think a different question is how Son Syaoran knew that those two people who look identical to himself and Clone Sakura's body were his parents. Probably a detection of their magical power. His concern for his father was quite heart breaking. I sort of get the lousy "sacrifice vibe" from those two, which would be a complete shame.

The unanswered question of who those two are exactly still stays strong in my mind. I guess it doesn't matter, we know that they're two exceedingly powerful magicians - who use the same magic as CCS|Syaoran and Sakura and who father Real Syaoran. I assume they're alive; or potentially even had their own time cut-off. Even without being sure, I still find myself feeling strongly for them. Mama Sakura's reassuring smile to her son was quite cute. ^-^ Papa Syaoran acts all tough, and yes it's a good quality, but it must be difficult for his son to see him getting harmed and in some amount of pain! Papa Syaoran didn't really give his son too much direction, telling him to "choose". I wish we knew what!

I could not agree with you more Cute Sherry :)

This is why in my “TRC chronological summary” thread, I had added my personal assumptions concerning Shaoran’s origins. These were (and still are) the simplest assumptions I could find to fill the gaps in the flow of the events.

Taken from “TRC chronological summary” thread:

On a more personal level, I would find it quite surprising if CLAMP were to make CCS Shaoran and CCS Sakura have a son that is identical to his father. This would be neither realistic nor up to the usual high standards of CLAMP concerning details.

CCS Shaoran and TRC Shaoran are drawn EXACTLY the same and have the same personality. Such is not the case for example with Kurogane/his father or Domeki/his father, who have many things in common but are unquestionably unique.

Another important point is that CCS Sakura and TRC Sakura are definitely the same soul in different universes. Hence, if TRC Shaoran were indeed CCS Syaoran’s and CCS Sakura’s son, he would be in love with the analogous of his mother, which would be a strange relationship for CLAMP to introduce. Anyway, why would Shaoran fall in love with someone identical to his mother (excluding Freud)?

Well, I guess that's because some people have different POV or perspectives? If YamiSakura's clarification is convinced you, that doesn't mean it convinced everybody as well. For me, I have my own perspective. I don't believe they are CCS couple because there are still certain questions about LadySakura and MasterSyaoran which Clamp hasn't yet, clarified them clearly. We know CCS Sakura met LadySakura in a dream and blah blah but the question here is whether do we truly know that LadySakura and MasterSyaoran are truly CCS| SxS real form? No.

Besides, even if CLAMP said it isn't a sequel, that doesn't mean that mamma|Sakura and father|Syaoran can't be the parents of R|Syaoran. I mean, cm'on, the story isn't a sequel, if you think properly it has been the clones story since the beginning, R|Syaoran popped up later as the son of CCS|SxS, which DOESN'T

I don't understand here. You're saying CCS couple = TRC parents and now, you're saying TRC isn't a sequel to CCS? O___o. Well, if that is really the case, then Real Syaoran has no relation with CCS|SxS at all.

Well, I have to admit that I was somehow, dissapointed with this chapter. I wish Clamp would give us the answer to "who are these really LadySakura X MasterSyaoran" already! and it really seems like to me, Clamp are ready to pawn down FWR without giving us the answer to who is really the person he is trying to revive Tsubasa RC Chapitre 218 854197

Yeah, but at least, they've given Mokona a chance to raise the question which been bothering our mind for so long.

Thank you, Misty. ^^;; It's all a matter of perspective, and although I respect YamiSakura, I am still NOT entirely convinced that they are the original CCS couple. Just because you state you've clarified everything, doesn't mean you have, and attempting to end what you consider an "ended argument" isn't fair when it's NOT confirmed. And even so, me calling them "Daddy or Mommy" doesn't matter - CCS couple or not, they are a father and a mother. Mommy Sakura stated; "From another world..." Not "another time". And even though they went to Clow Country's past; the past didn't interact with their future selves. Not only this, but Mother Sakura seemed surprise upon seeing the younger Sakura - and her special saying.

Anyways, everything = uncomfiirmed. XDDD

^^;;;;; It felt so weird to have my name "quoted" so many times as if I have spoken for CLAMP...
I admit I was a bit extreme when I was expressing myself back when Chapter 217 came out and that I was somewhat annoyed when "that" possibility was suggested. Embarassed

There are indeed many things that are not confirmed and especially the "purpose" of WHY CLAMP are creating such confusion to their fans.
I wouldn't back out of my own interpretation and thought regarding the issue of CCS|SxS = R|Syaoran's parents [I have started and stayed firm to this theory since over 18 months ago, there's NO WAY I will back out until CLAMP tell me otherwise >.< *being stubborn*].

However, I really don't understand why CLAMP is attempting to make things more complicated and "suddenly" turn their wheel away from what they have been establishing. Especially at this climaxing moment [since the true identity of who is in the tube scene was revealed], the logic and plot they are trying to draw together once again is becoming vague and confusing. And the "solution" they are doing currently to clean up this mess certainly is somewhat boring/blah : It took the WHOLE TRC series and FWR's well-planned plot of "breaking the logic, twisting the dimension" and yet, once parents|SxS were released from the tube, their combine magic powers are POWERFUL enough to even mend all the distorted dimension and return things back to normal -____-"
I am sorry to say but seriously... I can only scream : What is CLAMP trying to throw at us?? And if other people haven't said enough... where in the world do "the gang", the happening in xxxholic's side fit into this pictures >____> since parents|SxS have "supposely" fixed everything with merely their own magic power [and okay, I will admit that probably involve a very heavy/deadly price that are being pay by them that we may not know of ;_____;]
